High ceilings soar in the living area, where you'll find a comfy sectional, 55-inch smart TV, and a selection of books. Or kick back on the sofa in a cozy nook of the inviting loft. The upscale kitchen features ample counter space and a two-person island. The side-by-side fridge has room for all your favorite groceries, and an array of helpful gadgets makes meal preparation a breeze. Serve homemade dishes at the six-person dining table when your meals are ready.

Loved our stay
We loved our short stay - the house was perfect for a family of 4. It was very well equipped, the appliances were in great shape, beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was that there weren’t beach chairs. But we used, and loved, the snorkeling gear, and appreciated the extra beach towels and cooler. It’s further from the touristy things than I realized when booking, so we ended up doing more driving than expected, but it all worked out fine. That’s as close as we could get to a complaint about the house - the location is not very convenient.

Real life Big Island experience
The house was so comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a family of five, even snorkel gear and a cooler for day trips to the beach! (30 minute drive.) FYI The house is located in a real neighborhood, not a touristy condo association. Barking dogs, ferrel pigs and fireworks are a part of everyday life.

Pleasant stay
Cute, clean house, located in a real neighborhood, not a place that’s geared towards tourists. We found it convenient for visiting the volcanoes and various other attractions on that side of the island. There are markets and a few eating options nearby. There is an air conditioner in the living room and one of the bedrooms, and many fans throughout the house, which made it comfortable. There was a mildew smell, possibly due to how rainy the area can get. But overall a positive experience.

A wonderful quiet spot away from the main city area of Hilo
Lots of space in this updated home, and location is perfect to get away from the business of the city. Although a drive to the beach was 20-30 minutes, it was still worth being away from feeling like you've blended in with the locals.

Family vacation
My family had an amazing time on our trip. We were out exploring most of the day and evening and mainly used the home for sleeping. The house is very clean with all of the amenities you would need. It is very spacious and my kids loved having their own rooms. The coqui frogs are loud but we loved them and my kids loved looking for them. We hope to come back again one day!

Good spot for early risers
This is a good property with nice amenities but beware - there are at least 10 dogs in the neighbourhood and they will bark in the early hours of the morning and throughout the day. It was quite disruptive.
