Didn't have info we:d submitted for pre checkin. Need more front desk staff. Staff wasn't aware of existing amenities, told us to go to next door hotel for bending machine. We finally found one on the premises. We were on the 3rd floor and there wasn't an ice machine, 2nd floor ice was broken.

Unhappy with too many issues.
The front desk service was good and the room was clean. A few issues we had were that the toilet was not bolted down on one side and rocked sideways when used to the point that was concerning. The shower head " screamed " when was turned on and only stopped when the head adjustment was turned and would still do it off and on. I suspect mineral buildup may be the problem. This was reported to the front desk but we never did get a response either way. Never did get any service on our second day there. Might have been nice to at least get a couple of clean towels. Virtually no communication on any issues back to us. Sunday morning at breakfast the garbage cans were overflowing and people were putting their garbage on the counters or just leaving it on the tables. The look was not good, never mind that it was mentioned to the front desk and staff just walked by them doing other things.

Receptionist was ok. Not friendly but not rude. It was smooth check in. Room is nice size. Beds are conformable and clean. Carpet and desk chair was not clean enough. Bathroom is very clean. Bath tub drain plug could not fully close but usable. Facility is very clean. Easy to park. Convince location. Restaurants are walkable. Nice canyon view.

Service was terrible. We went to check in and arrived 1 hour early due to the time change that was a surprise to us. There was no one at the front desk. We searched around and finally found a kind girl mopping the floor. She got the receptionist and the receptionist proceeded to tell us there were no rooms available for another hour. I’m pretty sure she just didn’t want to check us in. I asked multiple times and she confirmed there were no rooms. I asked her if we could please check in so we didn’t have to wait in line in an hour and she begrudgingly did so. We were tired from driving so we sat in the lobby with our baggage we had lugged in. 5-10 minutes after sitting there she said, “your room is ready.” What kind of service is that?!! She just didn’t want to check us in initially and was trying to drive us away. I’m guessing her shift was almost over. She did it to a few more people while we were sitting in the lobby. Unacceptable for the hospitality industry.

The hotel is clearly old and in need of renovation. All of the carpets were stained, the wall air conditioner units were noisy, the toilet seat was worn through to lower layers, and the beds were uncomfortable and springy (clearly well past when they should have been replaced). The hall air conditioner must not have been working because it was terribly hot in the hallway outside my room. I also paid to be able to have a late check out, which I will have reimbursed. Thankfully, I locked the door with the door jam because housekeeping barged into my room even though I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I then received a call from the front desk asking if I was checking out. They indicated that they had no notice of my late check out request. When I went down to the front desk to check out, there was no manager in the building to help with my reimbursement. This hotel just needs a complete overhaul and lots of training for the staff. I definitely will not stay here again.
