We loved the room! It was a huge room with no carpeting which is a plus! Bed was also comfortable! My only complaint was the towel situation!! And the front desk didn’t have someone there at all time you had to call a number!! I know that was because of a staff shortage but other than that we had a great stay!!

Honest Review – Wouldn’t Stay Again

I stayed at this Motel 6 in Grand Rivers, Kentucky, last minute while driving home from a 14-hour trip to visit family. I was exhausted and just needed somewhere to rest and reset. I chose this location mainly because I noticed they don’t charge extra for dogs in the reviews, which I really appreciated—especially since I traveled with my pup. That said, my expectations for a Motel 6—ESPECIALLY in BFE, Kentucky— were already low, and unfortunately, this stay still fell short. After getting somewhat settled, I noticed the room door looked like it had been previously kicked in. It was bent at the bottom, leaving a visible gap. I didn’t feel entirely safe, but I thought perhaps it would be fine for one night as I was very tired and didn't feel like making a fuss over it. Next, I went to take a shower (after cleaning it with bleach), and the drain was clogged. The water filled up around 5–6 inches before I even got in. I called the front desk, and a younger staff member came by. He was somewhat polite but told me they couldn't move me to a different room. Despite them having open rooms, he said my dog might bark and disturb the other guests. I tried to assure him that the only time my dog might bark is when someone knocked on the door and that she wouldn't be an issue, however he told me they still couldn't move me. I asked if I could pay extra to switch to a better room, and he agreed to check. He came back and said I could move a couple doors down for $20 more. I checked the

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. It was quiet and felt safe. They only provide coffee makers and ironing boards by request, but that’s not a big deal. Just ask. Theres a tiny town up the road with local shops and restaurants. There are trails right off the hotel that were great for short hikes. I would stay here again.

Absolutely the most disgusting hotel room I’ve ever seen. We had to get a refund and find another hotel. Urine on the mattress, bugs in the room, black mold in the bathroom and a FILTHY shower, holes in the sheets. Just horrible!

The directions take you down a road that isn’t even named right. It’s hard to see the hotel. The bed is awful and you will need your own pillows because they are so flat you’ll have a neck ache. The bedspread has cigarette holes all in it. The floors are so dirty my I had to wash my feet and wear socks. The check in personal was friendly and helped me with directions to the room and was curious.

Easy on and off the interstate. Clean rooms. Parking was a bit of a free for all with a fishing tournament pending and guests were the noisiest part. I didn't hear the interstate, just banging doors.
