Great location, cozy cabin feel
Great location, lots of extras for kids, clean, awesome hot tub, responsive hosts. A couple of things for potential guests to note, there is a keurig but no coffee maker so bring your own supplies if you need more than Keurig coffee. Steep stairs leading up to 2 of the bedrooms. Not an issue for us but someone with mobility issues or toddlers may struggle. Great place. We’ll stay again.

Worst VRBO Experience Ever
These are just some of the problems we had happen during our three-night stay in July 2023: 1. CONSTRUCTION NOISE - You will NOT be able to sleep in as another cabin is being built within 40-50 feet of this cabin. You will be awakened by nail pounding and sawing very early every morning. 2. MICE - You will see multiple mice in the house. Our daughter had one crawl down the wall while she was trying to go to the bathroom and when she got up there was another one on the shelf above her head. I saw one in the kitchen while I was preparing a meal and my son saw one in the dining room while he was eating. There were also three around the hot tub. 3. SELF IMPODING GLASS (likely because of problem one above) - Our son was in the shower and one of the glass light fixtures in the bathroom shattered. This made it impossible for him to get out of the shower without getting glass in his feet. 4. BROKEN AIR CONDITIONER - The window unit upstairs did not work. This made it impossible for our children to be able to sleep upstairs comfortably. 5. DANGEROUS STAIRS - At least one person WILL fall down the stairs during your stay. The stairs are very short/narrow and are carpeted. There is only a tiny sign at the top and bottom. If you are like us, it will happen the day you arrive or if you don't take one step at a time with each foot facing side-ways. We had three different people fall.

An absolute gem!
This place is marvelous! Every little detail is thoughtful and useful and makes for such a cozy experience. All of the amenities that you could want or ask for our included in this cute little cabin. The decor is modern yet cozy and welcoming. Although we did not get to make use of the outside fire pit we would love to come back in the future to use it. One of the features that we found so charming was that the house is very dog friendly so you can bring your pets. There is a designated spot where dogs can sleep plus all of the accoutrements that you would need for your pet such as food and water dish and toys. Definitely will be booking this again in the future especially in the warmer weather where we can enjoy the hot tub and the outside fire pit and warm. Furthermore the hosts are absolutely wonderful! I had forgotten a toiletry bag and when they discovered that it was left behind, they offered to mail it to me. Such wonderful people! All around it was a wonderful experience.

Well appointed cabin in beautiful Packwood. They thought of everything from the makings for s’mores to coffee. The beds were comfortable and they even had toys for the kids. The only downside was road noise but I would definitely stay here again.

Adorable cabin
Loved our stay here! Once we got the contact name a few days before our arrival things were great! The contact person was personable and quick to respond! However, I don’t know that I will ever reserve another property being managed by Evolve. They took 2-3 days to respond to my questions early on and you cannot find a contact phone number for them! I could truly recommend this property 1000%, but Evolve seems to be very poorly managed and impossible to get answers from. So. If you book it and have no questions, you will LOVE IT! The decorations both inside and out are adorable! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked!

Cozy cottage
Loved this property. We will be back soon. The management/owner has everything you need at this rental. I loved the mature mountain decor, gas fireplace, hot tub, outdoor fire pit and multiple outdoor seating areas. It’s in a quite wooded neighborhood, but it is near to the highway so you do hear some traffic noise. We had a question for management on how to operate something within the cottage and it was answered in a timely manner. Thanks again for the amazing stay!! Loved sitting on the porch in the soft robes provided sipping wine each evening.

Great cabin but no pool access
Overall we had a great time. The cabin was very well stocked and great location. Perfect for a family get away. The only issue we had and unfortunately it turned out to be a big one, is that we were unable to use the pool. When doing a search for a cabin months ago my only requirement and filter I used was pool. We have kids, and of course that would be the highlight of the trip for them. We have stayed in a cabin previously in the same neighborhood, but it was in the winter so obviously we wouldn’t be using the pool. Like I said, pool was important and this specific cabin came up with I put “Pool” in to the filter. This is why I rented it the cabin. The morning we went to use the pool I noticed that there was a key that needed to be used so I contacted the lady whose information was on the email to ask if there were a set that I needed to use. She was wonderful and very helpful, but informed me that only owners and there close family members are the only ones able to use a pool. This is something I absolutely understand, and had I known and had it been made clear that the pool wasn’t something we were able to use I probably would’ve stayed somewhere else. All that being said, we still had a great time. Like I said the cabin is great, very well stocked and we enjoyed the hot tub. There is a lot of great amenities about that specific neighborhood. Come winter we will most likely stay there again because it fits our family very well. Summertime probably not. We do a lot of skiing and snowboarding so this is a great cabin if you’re not looking to use the pool. I did notice that there are other cabins in that same neighborhood that come up when you put in pool to the filter. I definitely don’t want to make this seem like it is this specific cabins fault because it looks like other cabins have it listed that way as well. I just want for any family with kids looking to use a pool in the summertime to know that this isn’t probably going to be the best choice. Next time I will be sure to read the listing better.

Adorable and Comfy!
We were a group of eight - 3 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 kids (youngest was four-years old). The cabin was perfect for us for the two night stay while we visited Mt Rainier. The owner really made the cabin feel cozy and thought of everything. The beds were the kind of beds that make you question why your bed at home doesn’t feel like that…? And the bunk room was absolutely perfect for the kids. All five of them slept in there with no problems. The kitchen is small but has a huge sink and very well stocked. The one concern we had once we arrived was the stairs. They are steep and very short steps - you have to walk down sideways for your foot to fit on the stairs. We had three people fall down them. So if you have really small children or elderly, probably not a good idea to have them on the stairs. There is one bedroom downstairs though. Highly recommend!
