Stay could have been good, but when I needed to get ready in the morning for the day, my shower did not work and no time to fix it. When I need to check out I tried to explain what had happened and the front desk worker did not speak any english. It was frustrating on all levels.

Nice place when you need to be in Oxford
We needed to place a stay and this was it. It’s a nice little old-fashioned motel. It’s been renovated to have a much more modern feel. All our needs were met. This is a no-frills type of place but we enjoyed it.

Shower water flow was a little weak but otherwise a good place. The pillows and mattress were perfect for me. So convenient to have car just outside the door.

I had a very nice stay at The Butler Inn. My room was updated and the bed was nice. The bathroom was small but functional and everything was as advertised. The manager was very friendly and helpful and checked with me to see if I was happy and needed anything. One of my favorite features is the lanterns that made the property welcoming at night. This was a convenient and affordable place to stay.

The staff is wonderful at this property! Very friendly and accommodating. They made our stay at an average motel great! We appreciated that they allowed our dog to stay. The motel itself, while very clean, is in need of some updates and repairs, but the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. It is conveniently located near Miami University, so worked well for a college visit. We would stay again!

We ended up not staying. The room was very stuffy and smelled when we arrived. We turned on the air conditioner and it was very loud. The door had a gap around it, the furnishings were dinged up, and we did not feel comfortable staying there. The manager offered us an alternative place across the street which did not feel like a comfortable option either. I am hoping that Expedia might consider sending us a at least a partial refund. I have learned my lesson on prepaying for a room.
