The area and hotel in general were nice and also clean. The room, however, could have had a much better cleaning before we were there. We had to get cleaning supplies and wipe down the stovetop, one counter and several spots on the floor which means none of it was mopped or sanitized. Made us wonder if the bathroom was cleaned properly?! No shower liner, just a curtain so water goes everywhere. Just could have been better but wasn’t horrible. Also upon check out staff wasn’t real friendly, just took our keys and said ok I’ll get you checked out so we stood there waiting for her to say we’re all set and she never said a word. I had to ask and she said yeah I said I’d check you out. Was rude.

The room smelled like the mop Used to clean the floor was perhaps dirty but mixed with a cleaning agent that had a super strong smell reminiscent of something unpleasant. It was strong and detracted from our stay.
