This luxury villa is located in Oupia, France. There are 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 10 people, ideal for family holidays. In addition, it is allowed to bring 2 pets. In the large garden there is a beautiful swimming pool, where you can cool off on hot summer days.

Oupia is a pretty little village with narrow streets and many old houses, which gives it a warm and typical atmosphere. The area is ideal for beautiful walks and bike rides, but you can also make excursions to the surrounding villages and towns. A day at the beach is also possible, 30 km away. Don't feel like cooking? The closest restaurants are just 300 meters away on foot.

The villa is modernly furnished and everything you need is available. From the garden you have a beautiful panoramic view of the landscape. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. Guests can enjoy a barbecue in the garden.

The swimming pool is heated from April 15 to October 15.

Great stay for family with children and pets
We stayed here for 2 weeks as a party of 6 adults, 1 small child and a dog. The whole booking process was easy as was the check in process. The hosts were exceptional, Joel the property manager lives nearby and was there in minutes if there was any slight issue. The owner also lives opposite and was always checking if everything was ok and if we were happy when we bumped into him. The property is totally fenced off and gated in so no worries about little ones running off. The house itself was huge, with 4 very good sized bedrooms. The mattresses were a little hard to sleep on but after a few glasses of the local wines it wasn’t really a huge issue. The kitchen was well stocked with the delights of an ice making freezer and a Nespresso machine! Perfect for iced coffees! Air con in the kitchen was a god send. The pool was gorgeous, a great size and about 5ft deep at the deepest. It was kept very clean and topped up if needed. The jacuzzi was amazing too. The local area is quiet but there is a nice play park that we walked to with our son in the evenings. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, in fact we have booked the one next door for next year as this one was sadly already booked! Highly recommend!!

Perfect for a peaceful break
The house is fantastic, so spacious and beautifully presented. There is a large dining kitchen, fully equipped for family life. In the centre, there is a huge open plan area with dining, TV and sitting areas. All 4 bedrooms are comfortable with modern ensuites. The pool is great and there is a hot tub as well as the bubble pond. Outdoors there are several nice areas to relax in sun or shade. The village is a short walk away with a shop (closed for refurbishment during our stay) and a restaurant (looked nice, but we didn't visit). The area is very tranquil and pretty, with small villages surrounded by vineyards and local wineries. A supermarket is just 5 minutes drive away. We had a very enjoyable week mostly relaxing at the house, strolling in the peaceful countryside and visiting the local villages. The house is a very easy 40 mins drive from Carcassonne airport. The owner, manager and rental company were excellent - providing all the information we needed and checking that we were happy. We were completely happy with our choice!

Schöner Urlaub mit Abstrichen
Wir sind mit zwei Familien mit Kindern und zwei Hunden verreist und alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in dem Haus für uns sehr schön. Die Kommunikation mit dem Hausbesitzer war sehr nett und freundlich und der Hausverwalter Joel war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hat sich sofort um alle Belange gekümmert. Allerdings entsprechen die Bilder auf dieser Seite nicht mehr der Realität. Der Pool ist inzwischen eingezäunt, den Tisch vor dem Haus kann man eigentlich nicht benutzen, da ringsherum alles verwildert ist. Der Whirlpool neben dem Pool ist außer Betrieb, stattdessen gibt es aber einen Standwhirlpool. Der Ort Oupia ist ziemlich klein und es gibt dort direkt wenig, was man machen kann. Dafür kann man schöne Spaziergänge durch die umliegenden Weinberge machen. Und es gibt viele versteckte Orte, die einen Besuch wert sind. Das Haus und vor allem der Garten könnten etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit vertragen. Aber für unsere Zwecke hat letztlich alles gepasst und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!
