Lovely hotel. Staff were awesome and very helpful. We took a while unloading the car and they came out to make sure we were happy with the accommodation. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff and a nice clean room. The bunk bed was a bit creaky, so a bit difficult to go to sleep when kids moved around in it.

Air conditioning in France
We were pleasantly surprised to find air conditioning in our hotel room. This made the otherwise very warm evening very pleasant. The accommodations were otherwise standard. No complaints and nothing to be especially impressed by.

Peaceful and comfortable country hotel.
Despite the coronavirus situation during my stay 6-7.6.20 I had a pleasant stay. The communication was smooth and rapid. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and really worth the money. As the public areas were closed I was provided with a breakfast package outside my room. I really appreciated it. The hotel is located just outside the village Ottmarsheim at a peaceful spot. The village is small but there are many (at least 5) restaurants and bars where you can have a meal or pick up something to eat. I loved the takeout kebab of O'Malo's. All the places are within 10-15 walk from the hotel. One can best enjoy the village atmosphere on foot. Unfortunately the river bank of Rhein is occupied by industry so it is not so easy to admire the river view. If I had not been on a return trip to my home country I certainly would have stayed longer.

Excellent stop-over hotel
We used ALS Hitel as a one night stopover travelling between UK and Italy. It is very conveniently located and has good facilities including a large car park, a good restaurant next door and a petrol station 300m up the road. The staff are friendly and speak multiple languages and the charge for dogs is reasonable. We will use ALS again!

Inexpensive but excellent
We stopped here on our bike trip down the Rhine and we delighted with the staff room and facilities. Didn’t have the breakfast but it looked like a good spread!

A nice night's stay.
A nice hotel, convenient for driving north or south near the French/German border and Switzerland. Check-in was made easy by the multilingual staff member. The room (family room) was large, spacious and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was modern and in good condition. We did not eat in the hotel and neither did we explore the local area.

Nice hotel near Basel airport
This nice little hotel was very comfortable for us. We needed to stay 1 night to get to the airport for an early flight. The staff were nice and helpful, there is a parking lot and free WiFi, as well as a TV set. The room and shower were clean, and there are family rooms with a bunk bed for 2 kids, and a baby cot is also available. The only minus point was no air conditioning, so the room was a bit stuffy in the summer evening. But there was a slight breeze through the window so it was OK. Also you should know there is no coffee machine in the room, which could have been nice.

Terrible Wifi
The restaurant next door was nice and VERY accommodating. They gave us a tray to take food/drink to our room and served us even when we arrived right before their 9pm close. The only reason for us to not rate highest stars is the terrible Wifi. We have poor mobile service and the Wifi was nearly unusable which was a major inconvenience for us as we intended to use it for the next day's trip planning. If we had known how bad access was we would have stayed elsewhere.
