The Space:
The apartment is approximately 1,100 square feet, encompassing the ground floor of a house originally built in the 1880’s and subsequently converted into separate apartments. It is super bright, sunny and airy with 10-foot ceilings and huge, soaring windows.

This space is made up of a large open living room and kitchen area, a full bathroom, a separate laundry room/closet, a large bedroom opening onto a private deck, and a front entry space with additional storage. The living room has a pull-out couch which opens to a queen bed if extra guests are staying. Original hardwood floors and architectural details are throughout most of the apartment and ceramic tile in the bathroom and entry.

1 Block away is access to the entire network of Ottawa/Gatineau bike and recreation trails, as well as bus stops for both the Ottawa and Gatineau transit systems. At the Museum, you can board the water taxi (seasonal service) to cross the river to Ottawa or continue and try your luck at the Casino. VeloGo bike shares located nearby. Uber and taxis are always available. There are public transportation options available for the Ottawa airport and train station.

Quaint house very close to bike/walking paths and museum/gallery/Parliament Buildings. Quiet and clean. Kitchen equipped with basics but nothing fancy. A couple of appliances (electric kettle, bedside lamp, floor fan) adequate but not working 100%

Just what we needed
My associate and I were in town for a conference at the Shaw Centre. The rental was affordable, clean and convenient via Uber or Lyft. It had everything we needed. It was quiet and cozy. She took the bedroom; I slept on the couch which was very comfortable. Most pleased with the price and accommodations.

No hot water
I informed the property manager that there was no hot water on my first night there, they said the people in the other suite must of used it all. The next day there was still no hot water i called again and they said someone would be there to have a look. this was a saturday so of course no one came. I emailed again and they said there would be some there on monday. Monday at 4pm i still had no hot water. asked for a discount as this was very frusterating and was denied. I checked out on monday at 4:30pm. I would highly NEVER recommend this property to anyone!!!!!
