Clean, quiet stay.
I love the Davine's products. It was a nice touch. The decor is lovely. Quiet building in Centertown that was close to everything (Starbucks, restaurants). The gym had a beautiful set up with a squat rack, DBs, rower, bike, elliptical and 2 treadmills. Spacious gym! My main reason for booki g at OConnor. Underground parking at 20 dollars per night. Laundry facilty in place. About 2 km from the Rideau Canal, if you want to walk.

Great value close to the University of Ottawa. The rooms/apartments are modern and clean. The online check-in process is easy but if you're not tech friendly I'm sure it can be done on arrival at the front desk. No need to see anyone though as online check-in gives you a code to the building and your room. I'll be staying here again for sure.

Sonder O’Connor is in a great location, easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants and had a comfortable bed. Enjoyed our stay here and will stay again.

This sonder property looked great in photos but the property is a renovated older building that sadly shows its age. The unit lacks sufficient hooks/ towel racks needed to function well. (We hung the hand towel on the cabinet door knob in the bathroom / the long entryway lacks any coat hooks as well so we had to walk to the complete end of the unit to hang in the awkwardly located closet) The bathroom fan was incredibly loud making a consistent metal flapping noise. And the water presure in the shower is a gentle trickle. However, the kitchen while small is well stocked and having a full sized fridge is great. The last disappointing item was the lack of water in the gym. They don't even have a water fountain, they only have vending machine water for purchase which seems not well thought out. I could do with 1 less treadmill for a water fountain. I was advised by a staff member that I could drink the tap water from the public bathroom sink next to gym but that just seemed a bit off-putting.

The facilities were incredibly clean and had everything we could imagine needing. We had a suite with a king bed and it was perfect. They gave everything from dishwasher pods for the dishwasher to multiple cups, utensils and other tools to cook in our kitchen. The furniture was modern and comfortable. The sofa bed did not need to be opened, as it was long enough that it gave plenty of space of a single person to sleep on the sofa. The temperature was easy to control and actually did change unlike many other places we have stayed. It was calm both in the building and outside. The parking was easy enough, as long as you didn’t lose the receipt. That was a great experience, knowing the everything was closed on new years (our first night) and we needed to cook our meals. Long check out times also helped with sleeping in and packing up everything. The shower also offered good quantities for shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
