The service from the front desk was good but they were not there the morning I left. Sonder charges hotel rates without being a hotel. Also, the place is noisy. Furthermore, there was a false fire alarm close to midnight and the sound didn’t stop for a very long time. I had a terrible sleep and an overall poor experience at this location. Next time I’ll book a hotel.

A good choice. The Sonder model, at least at this location, which was my first experience seems to be akin to a no frills about it, self service shopping experience. Minimal contact with staff, who were very friendly and helpful and easy checkin simply by showing up. The app works well. I had everything I needed, almost and slept well except for the false fire alarm. The room was great. Only two complaints. No USB ports and no lotion. Two things most of us have come to expect with a hotel. I was only there two nights, but easily found the resupply cupboard if I needed it. One point that did concern me was that each night table was stocked with a fresh pkg of foam ear plugs. Why do I need ear plugs in your hotel? I’ve never seen this before but might expect it if it was more like a hostel. I did t need to use them but… The self service luggage storage lockers worked well and I was able to get one before checking in and after checking out. Location was perfect for me needs. I originally ally booked here because the price was so good and the ratings were strong. However, after changing my booking from 3 to 2 nights a week ahead of my trip, the cost was no longer worth the self service style. That issue is probably a complaint to Expedia , though, not Sonder. Otherwise, if the price is right, I recommend.

Great fitness area for stretching and free movement and the common spaces are really comfortable and nicely furnished and maintained. Room was a good size and had all the kitchen items needed for a self-contained stay (good if you don't like to eat out all the time)

The room was clean and well organized. I thought it was very clever how prepared it seemed the hotel was for what may occur during travels. The kitchenette included a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, plates, and much more. The room allowed you to change the temperature independently, which I really appreciated. It did not feel like staying in a hotel but more like an apartment or home.

Great location, walkable to almost all attractions in Ottawa. Lots of amenities like kitchen, fridge, cookware, Roku, storage lockers, and game tables. The parking could be better. Check in time is 4pm, could be earlier. Wall has a visible bubble from a water leak. Lobby has a strong scent as if it's trying to cover something up. Overall a pleasant experience. Would consider staying again.

It was all wonderful and we would plan on staying here again if we were to return to Ottawa. Or any other city that has this chain. Bonus points for a full size coffee maker! The kitchen was very handy to have. Loved the use of the luggage lockers after check out, and the amazing friendly and knowledgeable staff. Although I didn't inquire, I didn't see if we could enter the building before our check-in time to store our luggage, but will ask, if needed, next time. Check on your location, if downtown, expect normal heavy traffic noise. It didn't bother us but it may bother others. Room was pretty quiet but any room can only control so much outside noise. We couldn't hear our neighbors so the building is pretty quiet. For the kitchen, you will need to bring your own food condiments otherwise it's very stocked to cook, eat and drink. Overall as the stars that I gave indicate, it was fantastic all around.

Location was great for my work which was in downtown Ottawa. The room/studio with the full kitchen was excellent. The only thing perhaps was that the washroom was small and one needed to run the shower for a minute or two for the water temperature to stabilize. Staff was friendly and helpful.
