We loved that it felt like an extension of our home, there were games to play, toys for our kids and a pack n play for the baby. The house was clean, we had supplies if we needed them to wipe spills or anything. The grassy area was a great spot to play catch and run around. The forest views were lovely and it was SO CLOSE to starved rock, we were able to go for the morning, come back for lunch and go back to the park again. 10/10 I would recommend and we will be booking again!

Great stay! The villa was very spacious and clean. Tons of space. Lots of kitchen supplies. Super close to all the hikes. Highly recommend it! Great host! We would like to come back.

This is very close to two hiking spots. They were beautiful in winter, but there was a lot of ice on the trails. Likely will go back in summer. The place we stayed was good for a long weekend. All the comforts of home were there plus two switch operated fireplaces.

Great alternative to cramped hotel rooms
We had a family reunion at Starved Rock but rooms there are tiny. We wanted a bigger space for our family of five, access to a kitchen for breakfast, more than one bathroom, and laundry turned out to be a plus with swimming, kayaking and 100+ temps. This place seemed too good to be true when. I booked and I was worried up to the moment we opened the door. But it was perfect. Spotless. Even a bottle of wine for us!
