I absolutely loved this place. So relaxing in the chairs by the water. Loved waking up and going out on the balcony to enjoy the sunrise overlooking the calm water. It was exactly what I needed during my busy travels. I'm so glad I came across this place!

Our first room seemed like it was half renovated/decorated. I had to do a minor fix on the toilette (as well as the 2nd room we had). The rooms and facilities get 3 stars while the bathrooms get 2 stars. The breakfast get's 1 star. The layout was shoved into a small corner of the room. Not convenient when there are dozens of guests trying to get their food. The staff were great, they get 5 stars.

We chose the place for our stay as it was close to Carleton University where our girls were moving in. The overall experience good with room offering excellent views of the Rideau canal. The room was overall comfortable but felt a bit tired. The washroom was very small when compared to others places Wyndham properties we’ve stayed at.

This is not a hotel, it's a motel and should be classified as such. Bathrooms are from the 70s or 80s, what pressure was a disaster. And even if you have a do not disturb sign on the door, the staff feel that it's ok to ignore (there was nothing crucial that made them come into my room, it was just an alarm clock that had to be fixed but they already had their possession they could have left their reception for me to pick up). This place is not worth more than $80/night. Don't be fooled by the Rideau canal feature, it's really not worth it.

The stay started out promising. The water front view is lovely and the spots to sit down near the dock are great to take in good weather and read a book. The issues began later on. When it was time to sleep, I realized how paper thin the walls are. I heard my immediate neighbours TV all night (which didn’t sound like it was being played at an excessive volume by any means) and was kept awake by every footstep and door slam from across the units. I finally gave up on sleep and left at 2am. I did advise management about the noise concerns before leaving but never heard back. Overall, the property is decent, the room was an adequate size and fairly clean, but it’s not a very restful space.
