If you need to sleep then avoid this hotel! I have stayed at this hotel before, and chose it again on a recent trip to Ottawa. I am a business traveler and had to get up at 6 am the next day for a meeting. The front desk apparently thought it was a good idea to put me on a floor that was filled with a teenage boys hockey team. They spent several hours running up and down the hallways and slamming doors. At 11:45 pm I called the front desk and explained the problem, asking for the floor to be quieted. At 12:05 the ruckus started right back up. I called the front desk again and was told security had found no problem on the floor. The team coach then started to try to calm down his wound-up teenagers, at around 12:30 am. I will never stay here again and advise fellow business travelers to avoid this hotel.

The property was great, staff friendly. Only concern was we requested Accessible Room and the door to the room was VERY heavy and the automatic door opener/lowerred door lock did not work. As well as no Shower Bench/Chair was provided when it was requested at time of booking. Overall 8/10 and will absolutely stay again if I am in Ottawa again.

When we booked we booked for 3. Couple on the King bed and daughter on the sofa bed. Sofa bed was terrible so had to put mattress on floor. Mattress had no bedding. Or was there bedding for a third person in the room. We called to having bedding put and they just brought it to our door not only refusing to put it on the mattress but pillows were not even in the pillow cases, duvet was not even in the duvet cover. They did not bring sheets either so we had to call back and were upset 'we kept calling'. Not what I expect from Holiday Inn as I had stayed at the one in NB a night before and was great.

Hotel is clean , rooms are renovated , services are all good two things I didn’t like , first the wooden cutlery at the breakfast buffet, please find another solution for that , and the fact that there’s a huge homeless encampment across the street is definitely not good for the hotel.
