Have stayed in this property few times during 2023/2024. During our last visit in Sept 2024 there was a power outage in our room. When we called into the reception/service area they not only fixed the problem pretty fast but also came by our room to check if the power was back on & problem has been fixed. Excellent service all around. Very clean overall but the cleanliness in the entrance & common areas can be improved

I liked this hotel, however the flat eggs and sausage oblige visitors to make "sausage/egg muffins". Need more scrambled eggs and link sausages. In addition, signs need to be posted regarding quantities of cinammon buns taken and then social etiquette (being reasonably quiet, using Facetime / WhatsApp during breakfast for speaker calls, and ceding tables, boths). Many people were taking too much, were ridiculously loud, on speaker phones, and just sitting there talking while people had plates in hand and needed to sit. This is IMPORTANT. You should not have to pack up food and go back to your room due to these factors. It was not just numbers of people, but behavioural.

Nice and clean hotel however they seem to put all the guests on the same floor. Not enough places for breakfast and the buffet was practically empty by 8am, no refills by staff, you need to ask. Also they have no security. Stayed there 3 nights and the last night the neighbors (2 different rooms but together) were extremely loud passed midnight, slamming doors every 5 minutes till at least 1am!. Called front desk to complain, no security or staff to tell them to behave.

The only negatives we found about this stay was the breakfast was suppose to be from 7 to 10. One day we came down and it was closed up by 9:30 and another by 9:50. If your wanting breakfast make sure you go early.

This property is convenient to get to. The amenities are very good. The staff are all pleasant and attentive. Our first stay, there was an issue with the shower. The manager took care of it immediately. My family will be staying at this property for the third time in 5 months.

Excellent location, friendly and courteous staff, exceptionally clean and spacious rooms with high ceilings, and two comfortable queen beds. There are a few shops across the side road at less than two minute walk, with a great Persian restaurant (Chelochi) where we went twice as the food was so good. There is also a gas station with a shop and also an A&W for good fast food. Free breakfast was included in our booking. The hot trays had scrambled eggs, bacon and roast potatoes along with choice of cereals, toast, muffins, boiled eggs, fruit juices and fruit yogurt pots. I am mentioning all this as most reviews fail to mention the free availability of breakfast (depending on the booking type) and what kind of breakfast to expect. My only con is scarcity of chairs and tables. The sitting area was quite small and congested. Perhaps going after 08:00 was a bad idea, first come first to be seated. Not to forget mentioning, the next day we were checking out early, before the breakfast start time and the reception staff was kind enough to have breakfast to-go in brown bags for each of us which was very nice of them. Don’t forget to request one if checking out early. I will surely come again at this place and highly recommend it.

Good Place To Stay For Quick Business Trip
Check-in/check-out process was simple and quick. Staff is friendly and available to help. I found a few strands of hair under the mattress when I did my "make sure everything is clean" check when first coming in. Not a big deal to me since I sleep on top of a mattress and not under. Breakfast is okay. It may be lackluster to most people but simple enough to keep people fed. My overall experience was good since I had a nice clean place and some food to eat in the morning during my business trip.

I’ve been vacationing for 10 days. I don’t sleep well away from home but I did here! This was the most comfortable bed and super quiet, no new noises or unfamiliar voices! Very clean room. The breakfast included with the stay was also fantastic!! Cheese omelettes, cooked oatmeal with topping choices, fresh uncut fruit, an array of breads to toast and so much more. Lonestar was nearby and a tasty Persian restaurant! Next time we’re in Ottawa this is exactly where we’ll stay again!

Overall great place to stay, breakfast was great, property was in excellent condition, however housekeeping needs a little fine tuning. Though we had booked for 3 guest we only were given 2 towels, had to get the 3rd one from the lobby as housekeeping hours were over. Next day housekeeping cleaned our room made the beds but did not empty the garbage bins and once again left us 2 towels instead of 3, had to get from the lobby. Even the teabags were not refilled. Otherwise very convenient location with lots of shipping and dining options.
