The gold level is undergoing renovations and the temporary space is just okay. Some of the iced beverages are held in an old sink and it’s just okay compared to before. I stay here a lot but they do not give me allcor points for booking on Expedia and they also do not recognize my ‘level’ even though I stay there at times 4 days a week, 3 out of 4 months a month. I’ve been exploring other hotels as a result. If I book through them, the charge me more than Expedia.

The Chateau Laurier is a beautiful property and very historic. Our room on the gold level was beautiful except for the curtains. One of the was not attached to the ceiling. Needed some tlc, but apart from that, great stay.
