I only stayed for one night at the Lakeview Inn, but it was very good. The man on reception was very friendly and welcoming. The room was great. I had a king room with a kitchenette. One of my bugbears of North American hotel rooms is that they have a coffee maker, but never a kettle for a decent cup of tea. Not only did the room have a kettle, but it also had a teapot! The bed for very comfortable and the room was nicely decoarated and clean. I will be travelling through Osoyoos more in the future and, if I want an overnight stay, I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival we were told we did not have a reservation, maybe my fault date wise, but 3 fellows came in after booking with Hoyels.com and were told no reservation and like us had to pay more. They are still holding our $200.00 fee after paying for the room.

Now that the management has changed, the place has gone downhill. My family and friends used to come here twice every summer and rent 4-6 rooms at once. We’ve been coming for about 8 years and loved the place! And now I am sad to see that the place has turned horrible. We will no longer be staying here and i would advise other people who want a nice vacation to look elsewhere. The rooms are horribly dirty, hair in the fridge and bathroom, floors are filthy, beds dirty. The towel service is non existent. The management speaks extremely limited English. I have been booking a room on the first floor for years and had booked it this time as well. I am disabled and my son has autism and has a difficult time adjusting to new things. I have made a note when renting a room for august back in February. I have also called the motel a week before coming to confirm that and was promised the room. When i got there they said they will not give me the room because they want to give it to someone else who is coming the next day. There was no working around that, it was take it or leave it and no refund to be given. No discount, no apologies, no suggestions for something else. My vacation was ruined, i was in severe pain every time i went upstairs. My son had horrible triggers and anxiety. We left the next day, as we had no choice. We came in the evening and travelled over 500km. After a horrible sleepless night we decided to cut our “vacation “ short and leave. No refund was given. Terrible!

Very disappointed...upon arrival they wanted a $200 dollar damage deposit, way more then what we paid for the room for one night. When we got to the room...the room was what looked like an after thought. We should of taken a picture of the room but we were a little more then disgusted! The bathroom sink was were the bed was and the room that had the tub and toilet in it, the toilet just fit beside the tub....there was a good chance if you took a shower that you would step in the toilet when you got out!! It's been five days and we are still waiting for our damage deposit to be taken off our credit card!

Attended the office a bit earlier than 3 pm and it said OPEN but after ringing the bell at the desk no one came. Left and returned after 3 p.m. and two men checked us in (one helping the other after the first man got confused.) The room was OK and convenient for the one night as we were just passing through.

Really friendly and as attentive staff. Convenient suites including kitchen. Few plates, bowls, mugs and glasses, however. We enjoyed being in a quiet part of town, while still having easy access to the highway and other services.

The staff was friendly, room is clean, has large refrigerator and microwave. The beds are comfortable. It’s not fancy but very nice. I would stay here again
