Dissapointed Stay.
We checked in on Saturday. On Sunday evening, there was no water for several hours...mind you, when we initially went to report this to the front desk, we were told that the water would be back in "half an hour". Later in that night, the fire alarm in the entire hotel was going off and there were zero announcements made as to why. This continued for about 6 times or more every 15 to 20 minutes. At the sound of the 2nd alarm thereabouts, we went to enquire what was going on but no plausible reason was given and this continued. From a safety standpoint, this is inexcusable for any business muchless a hospitality business. Patrons generally trust you with their safety by booking to stay at your hotel and this is how you handle a fire alarm going off multiple times??? That is totally unacceptable. As if things weren't bad enough, when we tried to shower on the following morning, Monday, there was no hot water...and again, no notification, no nothing.

A weekend stay- not too bad.
Check in was easy. The room was comfortable however the shower did not drain the water so i wasn't able to take a shower comfortably. We called front desk and they advised that was something maintenance needed to work on after we left the room. Gym was pretty small. Only has 3 treadmills and weights. Also we had a lady who was living here in the room beside us and constantly complained about my son making noise. Was pretty annoying considering this is also a hotel and we tried to keep it down.

Booked here because it was out of Toronto and easy access to the highway. Marriott is dependable and clean. This hotel doesn’t disappoint and keeps the standards.

The dressers were covered in dust on all the handles. The door to the bedroom was extremely loud. It woke my wife up every time I came in the room. Toilets flushing in other rooms were loud in our room. Breakfast was ok but bananas hard as a rock and oatmeal was like glue

Property’s nice. Lots of resto in the vicinity. Good location. What I didn’t like is their front desk agent was not that nice and accommodating. No water bottle available in the room. I had asked the FDA and was told they have a pitcher inside the room and I can get water from the fountain. When I checked on the pitcher, it’s plastic, unclean and nasty. Breakfast was so basic too

The Residence Inn here in Whitby Ontario is bar far one of if not thee best hotel in the area. Not only will I stay here in the future but I highly recommend to everyone looking for an amazing hotel stay. Thank you so much.

Great hotel
I travel to Whitby a couple of times a year and have used a few different hotels in the area. This is our first time using this particular hotel but will definitely be using it again next trip. It is a little more expensive than some of the other hotels near by but you definitely get value for money. The rooms are cleaned to a very hight standard, the staff are welcoming and friendly and best of all the breakfast is amazing with a good variety of choice :)

This is how a hotel should be run. Where guest is the focus. The only complaint is check in was fairly busy and a bit of a wait. Other than that everything else si what ive come to expect from Marriot hotel chain. Excellent breakfast options, hot tub was hot pool could have been colder but still good. Our suite was veey clean modern and a good size. Staff were very helpful and parking was adequate. Over all id recommend this location for your overnight or weekend stay. Good job folks keep up the good work!
