This stay was awesome for the surrounding food options. So many nearby places! It was also nearby a few train entrances with not a drastic walk to and from. Small room similarly to many other hotels. Staff was very friendly and having laundry amenities available was handy. I was a bit confused on how the breakfast buffet worked as I attempted to attend but was told that it was reservation only despite showing the staff my room card and being willing to pay additionally, but I strongly believe my language barrier was at fault here.

Functional, no-frills hotel in business district. It has all you need for a good night's sleep (kettle, multiple choices of tea coffee, mini fridge, etc). I did not have breakfast (or any other meal) there. Very convenient for transportation options - couple metro lines <7mins walk Keihan line to Kyoto. Not the happening area food-ootions wise, quite a walk away. That isn't necessarily a bad thing - it is a healthy walk 🙂

Rooms a little small (for couple with 1 large case) but all the other chain hotels we stayed at (Hotel Ann, APA) were similar. Great location, great price, lovely staff, absolutely spotless. Will stay again

Absolutely immaculate. Everything we needed, from toothbrushes to face masks. Staff extremely helpful and held our bags while checkin time came. (Don’t expect early checkin though. They clean meticulously) Highly recommend

Good hotel for business and leisure. Can't say it is near but it is still a walking distance from Yodoyabashi station. Rooms are clean and staff are extremely helpful. The room design is also possible to place 2 huge luggage. No major on space. They changed from DHC amenities to another brand from last year at least. Still, amenities are sufficient, especially for ladies.

This was a great hotel. Nice and quiet not on a busy road. Spotlessly clean. Great location, fast free wifi, coffee shop next door, a very good buffet breakfast, a family mart around the corner. Metro station was close, and a very helpful young man on the night shift, who's name I can't remember but started with a K? I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to stay here again. 10/10.

It is the perfect hotel for a family on budget. Reserved through expedia and paid at the property. So helpful - no issues at all. They can work a bit of the breakfast menu but overall I would definitely stay in if I am in Osaka

Compact but quuet
I'm always surprised by how much you can fit into such a small space; double bed, desk, chair, TV, dehumidifier, air conditioning, bath with shower over, super flush and wash toilet and a small fridge plus's a few coat hangers on a rail. Having said that there was nowhere to unpack my suitcase and tidy them away. However, it was a very well sound proofed room and all I really did was sleep there; because that's just about all you can realistically do.

The hotel rooms were neat and clean. The location was quiet as well. It was convenient for transportation around the city. Just a warning, if you want a comfortable bed don't choose the Japanese Style room!

My family’s home for 4 nights in Sotetsu Kitahama hotel and it was a blast and a pleasure being in this hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful when we have any questions and needs from them. Their breakfast was amazing and it’s very affordable. Additionally, the hotel room upon arrival was thoroughly cleaned. Good things with Japan hotels especially this one has a unique feature where when you use the restroom, the toilet flushes for you and you dont need to use toilet paper which is amazing. Other good things are free and good WiFi, free needs such as toothbrushes, etc in the front, and a 4 minute walk to a train station called Kitahama Station when exploring the city. Only thing that is not good is its cramp as its a small room and the width from the wall to the bed is near each other that's only if your used to bigger living spaces but overall I had a very good experience. I would definitely recommend this to someone travelling to Osaka. In the future, I would definitely use this hotel again.

It was uneventful. Away from the shopping. This last location is quieter than the other one. It’s about 6 minutes walk to Kitahama Station. However, the is a Family Mart that’s around the corner as well as a few restaurants nearby.
