Luxurious and comfortable Hotel

The hotel was amazing. We had a large comfortable room with beautiful city view. This hotel is within walking distance (about 15 mins) of Umeda Hankyu and JR station. It's super convenient with a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from. The breakfast was very, very excellent especailly, the western style breakfast as far as quantity and quality. Excellent say.

The property was large and opulent and they kindly upgraded out room which had a beautiful view. The room was comfortable and quiet and the bed was the best we'd slept in while in Japan. But having just come from hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto, in comparison the Hankyu seemed like a throwback to an earlier time. It was very focused on the wedding industry rather than feeling like vacation hotel. The staff, while friendly, spoke little english. The concierge was unable to help us with neighborhoods to explore or recommended restaurants.

Beautiful room

The service at this hotel is exceptional. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely. It was spacious and comfortable with nice views over the river.

My family has stayed in many hotels in Japan, and this one was top notch. It was an elegant hotel, and provided rooms which were large with large bathrooms (included both shower and separate tub). Large picture window with two cushioned chairs to lookout over the city (we were on the 27th floor). There was a lot of room for our luggage and bags. Thick robes, PJ’s, and slippers provided (in case you like these perks). The only small thing was the daily breakfast-which we added to our room - where we could choose either Japanese or American breakfast. I only wish the breakfast was a buffet (which was what I was expecting). However there were only 3 set menus to choose from on each type of breakfast. So, if you want more variety, it’s best not to add the breakfast option and you could easily get something quick to eat at the Family Mart or Lawsons across the street from the hotel.
