Amazing breakfast buffet. I was pleasantly surprised with the wide selection of dishes. Staff were friendly and very efficient in replenishing popular items. Walkable location to touristy locations.

Clean conveniently located has a very good Breakfast buffet based on Asian and Western items I stayed at six hotels offering breakfast and the The Flag buffet was the best by far.

The hotel is located right next to two night clubs, Bambi and The Pink, the latter of which just opened in Nov 2024. It’s right off of Shinsaibashi-suji, the main shopping strip of Osaka and easily walkable to popular tourist attractions. No shortage of good dinner and lunch options in the area too. The breakfast was made for Western palates, so if you want a Japanese breakfast feel, then maybe skip the breakfast buffet at the hotel. All-in-all a great stay with staff that speak close-to-fluent english.

Hotel The Flag Shinsaibashi was a great stay. The location is a short walk to Dontonbori which has great access to restaurants and shops. Their breakfast buffet was amazing! So many options and the items always changed up but also had the classics like pastries and toasts. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and made it easy for us to be able to deliver our luggage to Kyoto for our next travel plans. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved how the hotel was close to literally EVERYTHING! In walking distance to metro station, shopping areas, dotonbori, amazing restaurants! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The laundry room was a plus side too!

This property was modern and very close to the main shopping street in Shinsaibashi. It was very easy to get around since it was close to the Midosuji line. Would definitely recommend as it was very modern and the room was great! They also have complimentary water, coffee and tea. There are laundry facilities onsite as well.

Osaka’s Best Hotel!
Truly the best stay I had in Japan, would recommend this hotel to everyone! Customer service was top notch! Close to all the shopping & eateries also by the subway lines!! They also take care of your luggage if you need it shipped to your next destination! Love this hotel! Sagoi!!!

This was my favourite hotel we stayed in during our Japan trip. The hotel is super modern and the rooms are spacious. The location of this hotel is the best! Super close to restaurants, bars, konbini’s and public transport. The staff were so friendly and were so happy to help us ship our luggage back to Tokyo. The reception area had so much space to hang out and the little library was quiet and close to the laundry/vending machines etc.. If we were ever to go back to Osaka, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but Hotel The Flag!

Very nice hotel! Located in a great area, just a few minutes walk to Dotombori. The breakfast is excellent with lots of options. Additionally, the hotel is just a few blocks from Shinsaibashi station, which is very convenient after a long day of walking. The staff is very kind and friendly.

Lovely stay
Really lovely stay. Very comfortable, quiet, rooms a good size and love the reusable water bottles and free coffee in the lounge. Great location. Only minus points would be that there does not look to be a view from any of the rooms and you are not automatically given an iron and they are often booked out.
