“This hotel had an unbeatable location right in the heart of Dotonbori, with shopping, attractions, and train stations all just a 5-minute walk away. While the rooms were a bit on the smaller side, everything was exceptionally clean, and the facilities provided were more than adequate. It was definitely worth the price—nothing extravagant, but it delivered exactly what I needed. The overall vibe was great; it won’t blow you away, but it certainly won’t disappoint either.”
I had an exceptional stay at Candeo Hotel Osaka! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming staff and the hotel’s modern yet comfortable ambiance. The rooms were spotless, well-designed, and provided every amenity I needed to make my stay enjoyable. The highlight, however, was the stunning rooftop spa—offering breathtaking views of the city while I relaxed in the soothing onsen. The location is perfect for exploring Osaka, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. I highly recommend Candeo Hotel Osaka for anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in the heart of the city!
The spa was lovely after walking for hours, however it is separate for the males and females as is the case for most spas/onsens in Japan. It was sometimes a noisy at night as you are so close to the action but we would stay there again.
Over all everything is good. We used the self laundry really sad experience. I were there waited over 45mins no one come up pick up their finished Laundry. Have one machine problem so someone called to lobby, waited 15mins the staff come up and fixed the machine also take out the cloth, so I started to use the machine at 1am.
The only good thing about it is the location, it’s like if the owner bought the land then said ok do whatever you want to do now.
The experience starting from the check in to the check out is terrible. The services were sick, it might be good for a motel, but for a hotel? No sir.
They are polite? Yes. Do they know how to do their work in a 4 star hotel? No.
To conclude, i wish if i have the men in black stick to erase my memories in this building ( sorry I could not use the word hotel to describe it ) .
I'll start with the good stuff. The location is the primary selling point this this hotel. It is in a very vibrant area and right next to the Dotonbori -- a very popular attraction in Osaka. It's also quite near the train station, so very convenient. The staff and service were also excellent. The breakfast was decent but expensive. The hotel room, however, is strange especially for a high-end hotel. The layout has the sink in the room, which means if you're staying with other people, no one can sleep if you are getting ready as the only light that illuminates the sink also illuminates the rest of the room. There is virtually no counter space so all your toiletries have nowhere to be. The room is tiny. And finally, the elevator takes forever to arrive ... and when it does, it's full of people. Several times we opted to walk down the 6 flights of stairs after waiting 10 minutes.
We booked a room for 4 adults and 1 child who is 12 yo. While there were 5 bed (3 twins and 2 sofa beds), there was no room for luggage storage. Too cramped for 5 people. However, staff was very nice and the room was super clean.
