Affordable and comfortable hotel next to Hommachi train station, but couldn’t hear the trains. 20-25 min walk to Dotonbori Bridge area which is a must to see, especially at night. Good local restaurants at good prices. Hotel rooms are small, but that is common in Japan. Only downside to the rooms were the lack of top sheets and uncomfortable pillows. Definitely recommend APA, for the price. Safe area for female solo travellers.

Great place, very nice & clean. Great location, very close to many bars, restaurants, shops, & nightclubs. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Since I extended my stay, I obviously like the hotel. Wifi was slow and frustrating as it took several tries to do online payment without being drop. Breakfast was wonderful. I mostly extended because of it. A Big disappointment is the pool for which you have to pay 2000 yen per hour to use…. On my extended stay, Wifi became pretty bad, I am not sure I will come back because of it…. From bullet train station (Shin-Osaka Station), took 45 minutes slowly finding my way to the hotel - Took the “Red” Metro Line called M “Midosuji”. Stop at the M18 station called Hommachi. The hotel is next to Exit 18. From the hotel to the Osaka KIX-Kansai International airport took 1.5 hour. Took the “Red” Metro Line called M “Midosuji” to Namba stop (M20), took 1/2 hour, then wait 10 minutes for the train to the airport which took 50 minutes.

Rooms are very small, bathrooms smell bad. Feels dirty overall. It’s not quiet due to the metro below us, but that is tolerable. Wouldn’t come back to APA hotels in general it felt like a closet room. Staff were nice, they don’t really help with check in process…location is convenient
