Rooms are compact but this hotel has everything that you'll need for a solo or couple traveler. Public spa on the 2nd floor, quick access to convenient stores, metro station down the street, and a store walk to the Osaka Castle.

Osaka Castle close
Hotel is very close to the subway line. 2 Family Marts and a 7-11 are close as well. There is an on-site restaurant but since we didn't dine there, I'm only providing this info. Rooms are extremely small. For those that have cruised before, the bathroom is comparable in size but the rooms are 1/2 the size. Walk too fast and you'll slam into the back wall. We needed 2 connecting rooms for the 4 of us. Osaka Castle is about a 15-20 min walk so the location is pretty ideal. It's about 15 minutes in subway rides to Dotonbori which was perfect after the hustle & bustle. There are 2 washing machines on the 1st floor with 2 dryers (500Y for wash/100Y for 30 min dry). Supposedly laundry detergent is self-dispensing but I didn't think so (not the typical detergent smell after wash). Dryers are not that efficient as you will probably need at least 2 cycles for a satisfactory dry. Only time you see/speak with staff is during check in as check out is a card(s) drop. You have to store your suitcases under the bed because the room is too tiny. The A/C can be an issue for some - it blows towards the bed. I would say this hotel is probably best for couples rather than for families.

It is very cheap to make a reservation in this hotel, however it doesn't disappoint, it is the best hotel, it has the metro station near and it is near from the Osaka castle. Beautiful hotel. The attention of the staff was incredible too.

Short walk to train station and Osaka Castle was within walking distance (20 mins). Rooms are smaller compared to most hotels. We got 2 adjoining room as a family of four which was great. No fuss stay. Close to restaurants and convenient stores too.

Really convenient to go to Kyoto with a direct train service and accessible to many shopping places like Tennoji (10-15min train ride!) really close to Osaka Castle as well!
