This house is in the perfect location, just a few blocks from Lake Eola and Thornton Park. Felt super safe and walkable.
Unfortunately, while the concept of this property is great, it needs some updates to really be worthwhile.
To start, all of the door handles and locks are… broken. My friend got stuck in the bathroom for 30 minutes as the door handle came completely off. Later, I myself got locked in as well and we then just decided not to close any of the doors.
Second, the queen bed had hair in it. Ew! Was it clean? Why was their hair in it when we got there?
Third, they cut the lawn for 2 hours starting at 7am on Saturday morning. When you have paying guests, maybe you don’t need to cut the lawn right then?
Fourth, this property comes with a parking spot and someone was in it twice… Luckily we just parked on the street but that was very annoying.
Fifth, and possibly most importantly, the internet is terrible. You absolutely cannot work from this property and when you try to watch TV, it buffers about 50% of the time.
Despite all these issues, we were barely there, and it was fine. If the owner fixes it up, this could be a very nice property, but as it is, I’d say buyer beware.
