Ughh… say Whaaaaa?
The power went off repeatedly through the night, we had only one working outlet AND we power was scheduled for indefinite disconnect before checkout time; hours before!! Yes, I signed a waiver acknowledging electric problems, but one assumes it is getting better when the power company is working on it. The fact that they hid the indefinite shutoff before checkout time, is beyond the pale. I’ve stayed here many times and never had an issu

I had to sign a pre check in which took my card info and told me when I arrive just pick up my card. Got there and told my card declined, but I had never received any notification of a decline. Very embarrassing. Never experienced that at any other hotel stay. Then got to my room and the 2nd bed wasn’t made. Another woman walking by told me they sent her to a room that had suitcases in it. Then after complaining about the bed the nice guy asked me if I had done a review. I’ve never been confronted by hotel staff about a review which at the time I didn’t make. If I do a review it’s always after my stay. The continental breakfast was great for kids with cereal and pastries. I’m used to Inns that have waffle makers etc. The parking lot was closed off and you can’t even have visitors. It was ok for the price I guess, but I wouldn’t go back.

You could tell it’s used as a shelter. The bathroom was old. Only gave us 2 towels one washcloth and small hand towel. The parking lot was very dark and unsafe looking

The first wake up at this property, we ran out of the half roll of toilet paper they had. The front desk informed us that we needed to wait 2hrs for housekeeping to get in to see if they had any stock. They did not. They refused to go to the store to buy more. How does an entire hotel not have toilet paper? I had to buy my own. Not to mention that this location is extremely dilapidated & we had a lamp that was missing a prong & my son almost electrocuted himself. They also did not have any towels, other than the beach towels.

Room was not clean. Stains on the pillows and tufts of hair was on the floor in different corners. Felt unsanitary. Couldnt even trust the shower/bathroom. And to top everything off, no toilet tissue or phone was in the room. And the wifi didnt work. Sorry, but just not a good stay
