I’ve never left a negative review, and nearly skipped the review completely, but people need to know that this place is not as advertised. Our group, five in total, could probably have shrugged some of this off had the owners cared, but it’s clearly owned by a company. Not a family. And the company only cares about $$.
Cleanliness: long, dark hairs in the shower, slimy shower floor, short and curly hairs in the corners of the bathroom, urine on the back of the stool, dining room table was crumb covered (but covered by placemats), and the kitchen bar had smeared food on it. Pool and hot tub had green grapes scattered throughout the bottom.
Not hot water in the master bath. And the hot tub was cold.
We called the homeowner. No answer. We texted. Nothing. Sent a message through booking site and received a form response that someone would address our concerns as soon as possible.
I kept calling and eventually did speak with someone who said the maintenance crew doesn’t work on weekends.
On Tuesday, the air conditioning stopped working. Still no hot tub. We cleaned the house ourselves. I contacted the owners again and received the same firmed response I’d been getting since we checked in. One of our party was a very pregnant young lady and, when temps are in the 90’s, overheating is a concern. We sent another message and email because we were locked out of the thermostat for some reason. My electrician husband fixed the air. Not even a thank you from the owners. Horrible!
