False information and poor communication
We were told that our booking was confirmed and our credit card was charged for the confirmed booking, however no one contacted us from the property party. We called the manager on our travel day to get no answer the first time so I left a message stating it is urgent that they call us and give us a status and a brief down on how to access our rental property. We received no answer so we called VRBO customer service and their response was that they couldn’t cancel or help us until past 4pm. In the meantime we have no place to stay on our vacation, great response from a company who trains their people to handle such situations. Purely unprofessional and unforgivable for such actions. What your staff told me was to hangout in my car parked somewhere until 4pm and then they will take action to help us with another place or refund. I asked them if they would at least try reaching the property manager and find out regarding the no response. Finally after couple hours into our travel the manager called us to notify us that his property was already booked and VRBO did not confirm with him regarding such booking. Excellent service to collaborate with such unreliable partners, makes for right kind of recipe for disaster. After hours of going back and forth I was able to confirm a refund and a struggle to find a place for my family last minute for a Disney vacation. Never again will I put my trust in VRBO
