Wonderful Stay!

The innkeeper was amazing! She checked on me knowing I was on a knee scooter, making sure I had everything I needed. Very comfortable with fun little surprises like a s’mores kit for the outside fire pit and a croquet course. A well maintained property and just so enjoyable!

We were surprised that this property received such high scores. It is older and very funky — think 60s “hippie commune”. Rooms are very “cabin-like”. Be prepared for the tech used for room key. You have to download a free app and wade thru several screens. Your smart phone is your room key. Don’t know what you do if you don’t carry a mobile phone. One cute feature — our room ceiling had visible stars when the lights were turned out!

We stayed in a two bed cabin. It was quiet, clean and nice. Beds were medium firmness not too soft or hard. Shower was small but overall nice. Liked the smores, pizza and atmosphere.

Highly recommend this property! We had a little problem with the contactless check-in but the staff quickly resolved it. We loved the location on the south end of the city. Not as many people and great beaches. It takes about 10 min to walk to the beach from the property. On site Amenities room, Game Room and outdoor fire pits as well as corn hole and mini golf in the back. Beds were comfy and room was exceptionally clean. The only thing I wish we would have had in the room is bowls. Everything else was provided, even a “smores kit”. We lived our stay here

If you love history and kitschy stuff, this is the place for you. We stayed in a stateroom and loved our stay! We ate at the wheelhouse, took our food outside by a firepit, and played cribbage with the board and cards they provided. Free laundry, free snores, snacks. Amenities were great. Nice extras like coffee, fans, extra couch blankets, stars on the ceiling at night. I loved this place! My favorite place this trip! My only regret is that I was unable to get a sweatshirt, because the wheel house was closed for Memorial Day. Friendly staff. Electronic key worked without a hitch. I can’t say enough!

Cabins are old, its at the salty beach, don't expect super clean and it will be a great stay for you! Love staying here, pet friendly and good location. Love all the firepit areas, lots of things to see and do right on the property. Amenities are abundant. Restaurant and bar on site! Its pretty great and priced well so the tiny tiny bathroom and cleanliness issue are offset.

Great parking for a 2nd floor room. The property itself is quaint, clean, and my friend called it a fairytale like place. Our room was clean and well stocked on everything. Plus, we had extra coffee, creamer available outside in the hallway. Our room, 205, had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. We had a great weekend here. Thank you Anchor Inn staff.
