Overall it was a great stay. The room was a little ripe, had a slight odor but overall was clean. Lots of fun activities for kids to stay busy on aite.

Great for families !

Rainy 2 day stay kept us from enjoying the beach much but having a cozy place to stay near town was a good way to make the best of it. Game Room, help yourself amenities, check in / out no contact, fire pits and smores, croquet course set up in back, dvds galore, pizza and bar on site, short drive to beach, near many stores and restaurants

Nice property with great amenities- s’mores and coffee! I would describe the rooms as kitschy (the bathroom was dated) but the bed was comfortable. A little too close to the 101 but earplugs helped drown out the traffic noise.

The most unique little place to stay! Would stay again! They have real creamer for the in-room coffee and light/medium/dark options. The shower was a little spooky because it was so tiny, but I’m a tall person so it might have just been me. This place is so well decorated even inside the rooms! The beds are comfy. They also have options to sign in to Netflix etc. We would definitely stay here again!!!

We got a suite(Sweet) deal on stateroom 207 which for the last minute decision to spend a night on the coast with our large family group was perfect. Definitely has the old beachy charm. We used to live at the coast and did housekeeping at many vacation rental properties and this was a perfect little suite for the cost of $166 for a king a queen and 2 pullouts even though only one pullout was mentioned and it was up to our high standards for cleanliness. There's even a private balcony with this suite. The room access was amazingly easy. I called the resort after booking and gave them a card number for incidentals and they sent me a text with a link to the Openkey app which allowed me to use my phone as a room key by holding it up to the lock and tapping the key icon on the screen. The little bar downstairs has soft drinks for $2 for a 12 oz can which was great for convenience. They had beer and white claw and similar drinks for 3 to 4 dollars which is reasonable if you just want to relax and not have to go out off property. We didn't have time to check out the mini golf course or the fire pit but next time we will spend a couple nights. We will definitely return in the future.

The room set up is pretty cool, especially for the price point. This could be a fun place in the summer. The downsides are the shower is very tall and skinny and its awkward. Also, when we arrived and pulled out the pull out beds, the bed liners were dirty and covered in food crumbs. We asked the staff for new covers as we had removed them from the beds and while they did give us new ones, the came in and started picking up various things that were out of place or not done - commenting on the feedback they would give to the other person who cleans. She went as far as to grab a vacuum and started vacuuming the couch. It was a bit awkward just in the fact we were ready for some down time and it felt like we had no privacy. Aside from that, the bed situation made us feeling cautious overall if things were infact cleaned properly. Overall, its not a bad place, but not likely somewhere we would be jumping at to stay again.

Dog friendly, kind of…

Great atmosphere. Dog friendly but also very restrictive. Thought we would be able to leave our well behaved dog in the room while we went out for dinner but there is a $100 fine for that, it was raining so hard to find a spot to eat at that have covered outdoor space with a pet. We only stayed one night so it was fine but would have probably stayed else where if we knew all the details that came with having a dog. Also only grassy spot in common area is not for dogs so we had to walk off to a muddy away from the property.

The property is very old but well taken care of. It's a very different from regular hotel. It's like you've stepped back in to the 1930's. So many unique things to see on the walls and other areas of the property. It's wooded so it gives you the felling of rustic. Out back they have like a mini golf course only using a mallet and ball. Fun. Very dog friendly. You can walk to the beach but it's a pretty long walk.
