Loved it! Peaceful, relaxing hideaway with beach access and gorgeous views. Hosts are welcoming, rooms are great, and the sunsets are amazing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax and unwind.

Ohiwa Beach Apartments.
Fantastic room with a perfect view over the beach. Nearest shops are 15 mins away so remember to bring something to have on the deck while watching the sunset Phone reception with Vodafone is poor.

Beautiful restful location set in property with mainly mature NZ native trees. stylish and spacious room with private outdoor and indoor living. cant fault it. Also value for money. Will stay longer next time

This property combines a situation surrounded by pristine natural environment: beach, native birds, estuary and bush: with a very comfortable apartment. Each apartment has an excellent view out over the beach facing the sun. Very comfortable bed and furniture with excellent kitchen facilities. Bathroom spotless and clean. Excellent parking too. However you do need to be fit enough to walk up a hill and maybe mount some steps to your apartment.

Ocean view beautiful, peaceful and serene. Room was lovely but there seemed to be several unused tv wall mounts that just made the room look a bit untidy. It was nice to find a cookie in with the tea and coffee,

Beautiful suite with a magnificent view of the beach and ocean. It is excellent in all but one respect - the suite has no window or door screens, so opening the doors or shutters to let in the ocean breeze and sounds also lets in bugs :( It's a common issue in NZ - apparently door and window screens are not widely used.
