A fun stay
We spent a week at the Little Italy Retreat. Check-in was easy. The place has an adorable vibe and is very convenient to all the areas of Omaha that we wanted to visit. The beds and dining room were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The living room furniture, although quite decorative, was not very comfortable though. I also found the bathtub to be slippery and thought that a rubber mat should be provided. Additionally, a small sign letting me know that the back door would lock behind me would be helpful. It was a super chilly and I went out the back door late at night to let the dog out and found myself locked out. I didn't have the front door code on me, so this was quite an uncomfortable situation. There are a few things that need some maintenance. When we first arrived, we put some groceries in the refridge only to find that they had frozen over night. We needed to toss a good bit of produce. A couple of the kitchen cabinet doors are loose and don't close properly and the toilet paper holder is very flimsy (in need of tightening). The TV remote doesn't work well. The batteries seemed fine, so I'm not sure if it is an issue with the remote or with the TV. I just mention these couple of things because I would think that the owner would want to know about them in order to do the easy fixes. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely property located close to downtown, close to the interstate, and close to multiple coffee shops and bakeries. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, it had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.

Great location
Located NEAR little Italy so easy to get around. The property is older so that old house smell. They did a good job with the furnishings. The bathroom is a little small. Sliding back door was a little tricky. Nice big deck off the back yard however there is no grass and no fence. Don’t plan on letting your furry friend have free rein. Communication thru VRBO was very slow. I ended up calling city line property management and got such good service over the phone.

Property is cute and comfy. Outside concrete stairs are steep. Narrow and dangerous. NO HANDRAIL. Need slip resistance in bath tub. If these two things could be addressed. It would be a lovely stay.

The sink is in an odd location making it difficult to wash dishes. The porch light was on but no other lights and it was difficult to locate a light switch. A full and opened bottle of wine was on the counter when I arrived, which I thought was odd. Even though those things are odd, I would stay there again.

Beautiful, relaxing, and cozy
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so cozy and a perfect spot for us to relax and unwind after visiting the sites of Omaha. I really wish this was closer to where we live because I just absolutely fell in love with the vibe of this home. It is on a pretty busy road, but it never felt like it was loud or unsafe. I know if we ever come back to Omaha that I’ll try hard to stay here again. I already miss it!
