Getting around is pretty simple in Alpine Meadows! We suggest that you do have a car (AWD or 4WD in the winter) to get the most out of the area. There is the TART, public transportation, which is a great option if you do not want to drive, and you can take this almost all over the valley and around Lake Tahoe. During the winter, we do have a local shuttle that can pick you up at the door and take you to the ski resort.
NO STREET PARKING IN THE WINTER MONTHS. YOU WILL GET TOWED AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in a fine and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try and accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
One lesson we've learned about the great outdoors is the frequent requirement to wipe down the deck furniture. Despite our efforts to maintain the utmost cleanliness for your convenience, it seems that nature is working against us. You may need to wipe down the outdoor table, chairs, and any other outdoor seating. The dust and pollen accumulates within a matter of hours.
Outdoor furniture (including the BBQ) may not be available in the winter months (November - May).
Due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, including poor air quality and smoke associated with wildfires, we highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to cover your cancellation, as we will not be able to offer a full refund outside the cancellation window.
Tahoe Cohost Collective is not a property manager and is not liable for any injury or damages incurred while staying at the property. All reservations are between the booking platform, the property owner, and you, the guest.
