Tranquil countryside property, with private swimming pool and terrace with views
This sympathetically restored Farm house with its modern day comforts retains the charm of the past. A very spacious property located within its own grounds of 100,000 square metres. Yet within walking distance of the charming vibrant town of Olot. With a superb indoor market which is open everyday and its massive outdoor market every Monday.
Its amazingly quiet but so close to town with so many restaurants and bars to choose from.
3 special restaurants are Les Cols in Olot, Cal Marquès in Camprodon, Pont Vell in Besalú.
Sitting within the volcanoes of the huge La Garroxtxa national park half a mile away from the famous fageda d'en Jordà a marvellous beech forest.
With lovely Medieval villages to visit Besalu and Santa Paul
Mas Puig de Baix has beautiful far reaching panoramic views of the town of Olot, the forest and of the snow capped French Alps.
Walking and cycling trails from the door . The large entrance hall can be used for bike storage,
The property is the first floor of a very large house. There are large gardens many quiet places to relax, a private barbecue area.. There are many quiet places to relax.
A large terrace around the private heated saltwater 9 metre x 3 metre pool and a covered arched area perfect for shaded relaxation. With sun loungers and bed towels provided.
A large fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher.
The holiday accommodation has been updated but also taken back in time. Old elements, original doors, oak beams, windows and shutters etc have been restored to give a feeling of the past. There are many restored furniture pieces. Hopefully the past and present providing a calm sanctuary but with all the modern features to provide modern comfortable living.
All bedrooms have air-conditioning for heating or cooling.
The 2 owners live on the second floor.
