Better places to stay for the same price.
The room I stayed in had some issues. The shower rod for the curtain was falling off the wall making the curtain where it would not close fully and water got on the floor. Also the air conditioner fan would not stay on making the room uncomfortably stuffy during the night to the point I could not sleep. The alarm for the adjacent room went off at 6am every morning and would not shut off for thirty minutes and the room was vacant.

The power went out throughout the hotel. This hotel did not have back up generators..unable to take a shower..flush a toilet ect ect..the downstairs desk person didnt have answers nor could she guarantee a refund or a partial refund if we were to leave. Thankful the power came on 45 min later. The lights in the bathroom kept coming on..so poor wiring. The hottub had a nasty film atop the water..the jets didnt work and there was a loud alarm going off in the pool area.

The room was brightly illuminated all night by parking lot lights and side entry lights with no blinds or curtains to block out the light. Staff was friendly, beds somewhat comfortable, but we will not be staying here again.

Lady at the front desk that checked us in was very helpful….rooms were clean, pool was clean, breakfast lady needed some help getting food out! It was busy and breakfast ran out quickly. Breakfast was fine for a free continental breakfast. Stayed for one night on the way to Texas… would stay again.

Clean and friendly staff. Hot tub does not work.
Traveling with kids a pool and hot tub are very important to us. I called ahead and was told they were both working fully. The first day we went down and they were both too cold to get in. The front attendant told me the jets on the hot tub have been broken for a while and they can no longer get the part. I asked about the heat and she said she get maintenance to look into it. I could tell it wasn't a new issue. The next morning the pools were still too cold. My toddler was able to swim for a few minutes in the hot tub which was slightly warmer before his lip was quivering. Also it was had to sit by the pool because there were so many ants. Room was clean. There was a few spots you could tell they had recently repaired and the floors were tile which I appreciated. The bathtub had a weird stain that seriously looked like blood had been drained. Definitely use the non-slip mat. I fell just trying to get it down. Breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly and even though it's against their policy they let us check out early and didn't charge us for the extra day. We were close enough to just head home early.

Think the card entrance lock on door 104 needs to be replaced, but staff were great about helping out. Otherwise staff was great, rooms clean and comfortable and close to family.

Staff were phenomenal. Property.. I can see where they tried, can’t see where they succeeded.. room was overall just musty. Ceiling had dust (I hope) all over it. It was almost like a concrete room with a horrible echo and very cold feeling. Bed was extremely hard. Bedding was dirty. Shower and bathroom floors were filthy. Hair on the counter. None of it terrible, but not what I expect from La Quinta. Will not be staying here again.
