Second Time
Everything was the same as the first time in August 2022 which was very enjoyable. The place was roomy and clean. The view of the beach and the closeness to the water were unbeatable. The only gripe I had was that the food place Slappy next to the house was only open on Friday through Sunday.

Beachfront @ Oceano Dunes
For us it was an Easter break getaway. House was a good size for the 3 of us and right on the beach. The condo is right where you enter to go to the Dunes so it may be noisy or busier at the height of the season, but it was not while we were there (mid-April). Communication with Dirk was good. We really didn't spend much time in the condo, everything seemed to work fine. I think if we came back to the Dunes we'd rent this property again.

Great location to hit the dunes.
We really enjoyed this property. Great house with very cool artistic details. Its right at the entrance to the Oceano Dunes so its great if you want to cruise the beach or have a fire and relax. We would definitely love to return to this property.

Great Location!
The highlight of the property is it's location. You literally cross a small driveway and step onto the sand from your back patio. The owner was very responsive to my texts and calls. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would rent the space again in the future.

Beach Holiday Getaway
This property is right on the beach with beautiful view of dunes and ocean waves. The location is near an entrance to the beach so lots of cars are coming and going; I was concerned there would be a lot of noise but the location is quiet and relaxing. The condo is uniquely decorated and well appointed. We had everything we needed to cook a Christmas Eve Feast. The only draw back was neighbors smoking on their outdoor patios and the cigarette odor. We would definitely rent this lovely condo again.

Amazing Place!
This property exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was ideal for my family of seven (six adults and one 16 yrs old). The three full bathrooms were a plus to have as well as the TVs with cable in all the rooms. The view of the beach from the patio was awesome and the access to the beach was just a few step away. I am already thinking renting it for the next summer trip. Thanks again Dirk for the privilege to rent this place.

Wonderful place to stay! We loved the condo and the location. Right on the sand, great sunsets, and serene beauty. Very clean, well stocked with all the necessities, close to town, and close to downtown Pismo. We loved it so much we booked for the summer 2022!

Disappointed in the condition of property. Outdoor area dirty and there was an exposed outlet that shocked our dog. Screens and wind block super dirty. Most condiments in cupboard were outdated, some by 14 years!!! TV system did not work for us - too confusing with several remotes. For the price we paid, we expected more.

Beach front art gallery
Walking into this beautiful beach front made me feel like was stepping into a talavera art gallery. Everything was so tastefully placed and decorated we did not want to leave the house. We loved how the kitchen cabinets had fun and funny pictures placed inside the doors. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and even the sticks you use to make smores. Bathrooms were a very good size with plenty of towels and hand soap. this location is actually in front of Oceano Dunes and that made it even more fun. There is enough room for 8 adults very comfortably and plenty of extra blankets in the cabinets. The rooms had plenty of room and the master bedroom had a balcony to oversee the ocean. Great spot to just relax and enjoy. We are making plans in coming back soon.

Perfect Location
While the "decor" of the property is not exactly beachy, the location and size of the property were better than perfect. I wanted to be "right on the beach" and we couldn't have been any closer. Check in was a breeze and we had our toes in the sand just minutes later. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances that my sister-in-law took advantage of! The refrigerator is huge and the ice maker never ran out of ice. We took advantage of the fire pit and roasted marshmallows one night. But for me, just having instant access to the beach was the very best. Our only hick-up happened as we were trying to leave on Monday morning. Another renter/tenant of the 5 unit complex broke the automatic gate the night before and we couldn't exit the parking garage. Fortunately for us another renter was able to get the gate opened. I would highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone wanting a true beach vacation.

We had a great time relaxing on our vacation, we were literally steps from the beach and the place was nicely decorated. Pros: The property manager, Peri Kost was absolutely fantastic. She was kind, personable, considerate and responsive. The view was amazing. Cons: Wifi was disconnected. This was tough because none of the TVs in the townhouse work unless there is Wifi. If after a long day you want to cook a good meal and watch a movie, you wouldn't have been able to without using our own hotspot. House rules are written in a tone that doesn't at all reflect the experience we had (they actually scared me at first). I would recommend getting them BEFORE committing to and paying for the rental. Have a conversation about what's possible with the property manager, and you will feel a lot more comfortable renting. All in all, we had a wonderful time and were so glad we stayed. Kim.
