We recently stayed at the holiday home located at Ocean Shores, unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. While the location was lovely and relatively close to the beach, the property itself and the management were appalling. The home had significant cleanliness and maintenance issues. Upon arrival, we discovered visible cockroaches throughout the property, which was highly unpleasant. Multiple fly screens were missing from the windows, making it difficult to ventilate the home without inviting more insects inside. The shower screen was also missing, creating a mess every time we used the bathroom. To make matters worse, there was no general waste bin provided, so managing rubbish became a frustrating challenge.Despite the advertisement stating the house had air-conditioning, this was not the case, leaving us to deal with the heat without relief. Adding to the frustration, several lights didn’t even have bulbs in them, leaving parts of the house poorly lit and uncomfortable to use in the evenings.Patsy’s management style was intrusive and unprofessional. She sent constant messages throughout the day and even made phone calls late at night, disrupting what was meant to be a relaxing holiday. Despite the listing claiming she lived in Mullumbimby, she was actually living full-time onsite. Her constant presence felt invasive, as she repeatedly called to complain about minor issues, such as the noise of children closing
