Beach paradise w/ intra-coastal views and partial ocean views at the Pelican’s Nest!

Our designer home is located just steps from the beach on Ocean Isle's East End, and is meticulously maintained with all the comforts of home & more. Our home offers a backyard Oasis with a private salt water pool, tiki bar, outdoor shower, Foosball, and games! Many amenities throughout our beach home! Feel the ocean breeze on the wrap-around deck. Our spacious 2500 sq.ft. home features 5 bedrooms & 5 1/2 bathrooms on two levels, sleeps 14 (max 12 adults).

*** new updates for 2023 bookings *** backyard speaker system, updated beach equipment, foosball, updated kitchen small appliances & supplies, and more outdoor living amenities including games!

***We provide start-up essentials so you don't need to run the store once you arrive. The start-up essentials include 1 roll of individually wrapped toilet paper per bathroom, mini soaps for each full bathroom, and 1 roll of paper towels, kitchen sponge and dish soap.

*** The cleaning fee charged from Memorial Day to Labor Day (peak season), includes bed linens and bath towels as well as bed making. Rental of towels and linens are available outside of this time period for an additional fee and is not included in the cleaning fee. Our linens are for our home use only. We do not utilize a broader shared linen service like some other homes. Please contact the owner at least 3 weeks prior to your check-in for the rental of off-peak linens and towels at a cost of $100-$200 depending on number of guests. Must be pre-paid.

***Our elevator is only available for use for our guests with mobility challenges. A $200 refundable deposit is required for elevator use to be paid prior to check-in.

This home is beautiful! Very clean! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Beds were comfortable. Deck furniture was lovely. Beach access was close and wheelchair accessible. And it was so nice having beach chairs, a beach wagon, and bikes provided! It was a perfect week!

Beautiful home with nice touches
This home was immaculate when we checked in and had so many extras you don’t typically see such as an out door refrigerator and blue tooth stereo system. Tons of beach and pool toys so you can leave all but your favorites at home. Nice welcome package that was very thoughtful. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

A new family tradition!
An amazing home, in an amazing location, with an amazing host. Everything Rose did in the months leading up to and throughout our stay was perfect. By far the best host I have stayed with on ANY platform. The house was immaculate. Everything was clean, well taken care of and accurately reflected in the listing. We had infants all the way through grand parents and all ages were able to enjoy the amenities, most notably, the incredible pool. We will definitely be back, as this will be a new family tradition for our extended family. Book without hesitation!

The Perfect Week!
We enjoyed our week at Pelican's Nest to the max! Our family has spent a week together every year on the coast, and this is our first trip to OIB. Not only did we love the accommodations, but the family friendly atmosphere was second to none. When we first got there the code did not work but owners quickly resolved that. We were pleasantly to surprised at how beautifully decorated and stocked the house was! We like to cook a lot and found the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. A couple of times we received a text reminding us to reach out if we needed anything and that was comforting. Honestly, we could not have enjoyed our week any more than we did! Highly recommend this jewel!

Great family holiday!
Loved Pelicans Nest! Great proximity to the beach, lots of chairs and beach items, plus bikes. Pool and outdoor setup was great. House layout was perfect for kids to lounge on one level and adults to cook and hang upstairs- kitchen was perfectly stocked as we like to cook a little! Communication with homeowner was seamless leading up to the vacation. We will be back!!

Great house to gather
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kitchen and main living area was gorgeous and although it was too chilly to enjoy in the pool and deck space, it had a really spacious outdoor hangout space we would have been glued to had it been warmer. The bedrooms were a good size and we loved that it offered two living spaces so both kids and adults could enjoy their time. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and in working order. The kitchen was well stocked and host was responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

GREAT VACATION STAY
It was a quick getaway for a family wedding, so we didn’t get much time to spend on the beach, but it’s a short walk away and can be seen and heard (the waves) from the deck! The owners have just about anything and everything you can think of, available to use. I hope to go back and rent this same house in the near future

Great house in a beautiful location
Loved our 10 days at this house. It’s beautiful with tremendous amenities. The walk to the beach is three minutes onto a wonderful location with lots of space. Ocean Isle has lots to do so we really never left the island. We did rent a golf cart to make it fun to get around for the kids. Hope to come back soon to stay!

Wonderful experience
We had such a wonderful time at Pelican’s Nest! The pool was a big hit for our little ones, the outdoor closet was stocked with floats, chairs, bikes, anything you need for the beach. We loved the outdoor bar area with the couch, tv/mini fridge, and grill. The house provided several pool towels, which was nice to have.

Check in at Pelican’s Nest and then check out for awhile
Wonderful home with EVERYTHING you need except for groceries. Two families stayed here with five kids and the space was beyond perfect. Easy to go back and forth from beach to house. We loved the shaded sitting area next to the pool. We also loved the outside dining area right off the kitchen. Perfect for a kids table for dinner while the adults could dine inside. STAY HERE if you don’t want to drive for the rest of the week because you really won’t need to! The owner, Rose, was easy to get a hold of and has done everything imaginable to accommodate her guests.

Perfect Retreat for Making Memories Together
Our trip was fantastic, from beginning to end! The Pelican's Nest is beautiful, well stocked with everything you might possibly need, spacious, comfy, and a close walk to the beach. We had 6 adults and 3 children 5 and under. One family was unable to make this week, but there would have been ample room for everyone. There are multiple spaces to gather on the different levels, porches, decks, and pool area. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee makers, pots and pans, dishes, cups, glasses, utensils, and even children's plates and cups. Rose has thought of everything! She was an excellent host. She made booking easy, offered suggestions about golf cart rentals, things to do, and provided good communication throughout the process. We are already planning our next trip!

A wonderful home on the east end of the island
This was my first experience using VRBO and it was flawless. Communication with the Host prior to and during our stay was excellent and the Host answered all questions promptly. Everything about the Host and home exceeded our expectations. The pool and pool area turned out to be the most popular area and had plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and the decks provided a nice place to sit to watch sunrises and sunsets. Thanks again for allowing us to stay!
