NEW - Relaxing Retreat with Hot Tub in the Woods

Our renovated cabin is a perfect escape to the serenity of West Sonoma County any time of year, with its small towns and quaint main streets, rolling foothills of vineyards and redwood forests, and the Russian River flowing to the Pacific Ocean.

Located just outside Occidental, not too far beyond lie Monte Rio Beach, Guerneville, Sebastopol, wineries, hiking, and the coast.

While only 90 min from San Francisco, our cabin feels like a world away, making it an ideal place to unwind & disconnect.

While portions of our cabin date to 1918, it has gone through several iterations through the years, including a complete transformation since we purchased it in 2023. We wanted to create a comfortable and modern environment that is equally suited to welcome you back after a day of adventure or coax you into some serious r&r without ever leaving the property.

If staying in is your vibe, we've put blackout shades in both bedrooms so you can sleep in as long as you want on the comfortable memory foam mattresses. Once you're ready to take on the day sink into the sofa, spin a record and light a fire.

If you need a change of scenery, grab a book and venture out back to the hammock, or take your relaxation to the next level in the hot tub under the trees. Either spot is prime viewing to see deer, a variety of birds, and maybe the illusive fox.

Our fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to make a home-cooked meal and all the barware for that perfect cocktail. We've also got you covered with Nespresso Vertuo coffee, a selection of gourmet teas, and a French press. Enjoy your meals at the dining table looking out to the forest, or outside dining under the trees.

In the mood to watch a movie or some tv? You'll love our ceiling-mounted projector and 8-foot pulldown screen. We have Sling TV to view most sports and regular tv channels, and if you want to watch other streaming services, feel free to log in to any of your favorite apps.

For your convenience we've provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand wash. Towels, hot tub towels, bed linens and extra blankets are also provided for guests.

We hope you enjoy staying here just as much as we do!

There are two external security cameras, one on the front to view the front steps and parking space. The other above the back door with a view of only the back steps.

Hot tub maintenance comes every Thursday before 5pm. You may see them walking around the outside of the cabin and hot tub area.

A wonderful oasis in the woods!
My husband and I stayed here with my parents for the weekend and had a great visit. It acted as a great home base for exploring Guerneville, Armstrong Redwoods, local wine tastings, and the Jenner headlands! The hot tub, projector, fireplace, record player, and finishings made the place feel so cozy and put together. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Beyond fabulous!
This place is the ultimate perfect nature retreat. My teenage son and I needed a getaway and omg, we did not want to leave afterwards. The view from every window is just trees, birds and the occasional squirrel. My son requests for their interior designer to come design our house too plse! My worry with homes in nature are cobwebs and bugs, but happy to report, this place was *spotless*. The mattresses were luxuriously comfortable. From the welcome bottle of wine to the Nespresso Vertuo pods to the robes in the closet, a true 5-star experience. We grabbed produce and local goodies from Andy's in Sebastopol and lucky for us, the line at Wildfower Bakery on a Monday morning wasn't too bad. Matt was wonderful and responsive in communication. We can't wait to go back!
