Good overall
Great hotel walking distance to all spots. It’s in more of a locals commercial area with local shopping and street food. About 10-15 min walk to Zocala square. Free parking in a private lot 2 min walk. We got a queen balcony city view room for 2 nights. Breakfast 8/10. All great except there was no hot water for two days!

Great location, room, staff, and breakfast
Great location just a 10 minute walk to the Zocolo, a couple of blocks from Benito Juarez and 20 de Noviembre markets. Great freshly made breakfast daily, very tasty. Staff are all outstanding—incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excelente hotel, muy buen servicio, solo que al momento de bañarse en la regadera de la habitacion #1 se esparce el agua por todo el baño e incluso llega al area del cuarto, pero aparte de eso, todo bien, por eso le di 5 estrellas.

The staff at Real Alma was very friendly and helpful during my 8 night stay. They kept the room clean, provided plenty of clean sheets and towels. I enjoyed my stay enough to extend it by three nights! It's a little walk to many of Oaxaca's sites, restaurants, squares, markets, etc. Overall great experience!
