They went the extra mile
We spent one night here so we could go see the Little Penguin colony. We enjoyed our stay. The staff delivered our breakfast the evening before and left it in our refrigerator while we were out. I unintentionally left something of value in the room when we left Oamaru and didn’t realize it until we arrived at our next destination. The cleaning staff found it and took it to the main office. When I called about it, the manager arranged to send it to a hotel which was a destination later in our trip. This gives me a lot of confidence in the staff and management of this hotel. I really appreciated the honesty and willingness to go the extra mile for me. FIVE STARS!!

Welcomed with a mini glass bottle of milk, complimentary muffins and wee chocs. Lovely spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was tidy but still quite nineties, with an enjoyable but noisy spa bath. Excellent shower. Highly recommend this accommodation.
