Welcome! Tranquil garden in a quiet area. Private 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, Kitchen, Private entry and electronic lock. Beautiful quartz countertops, cherry cabinets, stove/oven, refrigerator. Dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, kitchen rolling cart and a Keurig machine. Full size refrigerator. Bathroom has two vanity sinks, a tub. Dining Table with 4 chairs. There are two closets and one storage closet. Front porch has seating - a table and 2 chairs, 4 concrete steps to access the porch which lead to a white door with an oval glass pane. Spacious bedroom, TV and Netflix. King bed, night stands, blackout curtains and a couch. Central heating vents (Controlled via an app). Pets under 30lbs only please let owner know if you are bringing a pet.

This is a wonderful place with all the conveniences of a small one bedroom apartment with porch.
Lovely and safe neighborhood. Full kitchen with many spices and serving/cooking implements. Two twin bed and large flat screened TV. Good WiFi.

Our stay was awful. The sweet looking bedroom actually had two huge queen beds stuffed into corners. Nightstands were haphazardly against walls nowhere near the beds. We actually had to move furniture to find a way to sleep. Not a spare blanket in the place. There was a security light placed just outside the window in exactly the WORST spot so it lit up the room like a firework. And it's sensitivity was set to detect a spider. When you walk through the "gate" you find used artificial turf covering what could have been a lawn or garden. Just a massive missed opportunity. Overall the sense that the owners had no clue or care about guests was clear from the first moment.The one start is for them having coffee.

This was a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone!
It was conveniently located, very clean, owner provided everything we needed, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the parking was great. It was an easy check in and check out process as well. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Nice place easy access to city
Easy access to property. Large room plenty of beds, nice bathroom. Dog loved the front fenced yard and runs in the giant park area in the neighborhood. Great access to city in just 30 minutes. Only draw back was no AC so a little hot during the daytime, 2 large ceiling fans helped and at middle of night would cool off. Would stay again if in the area.

Great location!
Perfect location for our visit to Castro Valley! Easy walk to Chabot Park, and close to all attractions in the area! The room had all the amenities and conveniences noted in the listing, and more. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location. Unique setup. Share with several other rentals.
It was perfect for my daughter and I. I'm not a bay area person, so this may be typical, but it was a former family home that has been retrofitted to be several rental units. Technology was not the strength, but I wasn't there to watch TV. There are handwritten notes everywhere, explaining things, as opposed to a simple book with instructions. Furnishings were fine. Security felt fine. Good neighborhood. Parking sucked, but I assume that's just the entire area's problem. I had to unload my entire truck, because when other people were in the adjoining units, I couldn't put the vehicle somewhere visible from the unit. If you are incredibly intimate with other people in your party, you could stay together, but it is basically a large room with beds spread about. The bathroom was nice, and a new kitchenette was in the process of being installed. If privacy matters to you, it's not for you. If you're going to just need somewhere to sleep while you're out all day, it's great.
