Alarms went off twice in the middle of the night, forcing us to evacuate and stand outside in the rain. This may not have been the property's fault, but staff did not communicate with us at all about what was going on during the issues or after the fact. In fact, our only indicator that it was safe to reenter was the departure of the fire truck. Staff was not at all apologetic after the fact, either. I would love to come back to Nürnberg to see the things we missed due to the missed sleep, but will definitely avoid this property.

Good overall, but lacked that final bit for the 5*
Beautiful hotel in a great location, however there is no parking (parking is in the main train station). The staff were friendly and helpful, spoke English very well. Sadly the restaurant was non existent which was an inconvenience for us.. but is local enough to find alternatives. The room itself was nice, however was in the roof so the ceiling was low and on an angle which was awkward for my 6ft5 husband. But overall it was good, just lacking those minor parts for the 5th star.
