Beautiful, oceanfront condo. There is now a desk in the living room (pictures not yet updated).

Please note our cancellation policy BEFORE you book. Most insurance policies don't cover cancellations due to covid. We are a smaller building, only 24 units, so there aren't as many crowds as some of the high rises in the area. Maintenance is cleaning the elevator daily. There's also a stairwell if you prefer to avoid elevators. We have a professional cleaning service come service the condo between every guest. We also have professionally laundered linens.

Welcome to our family-owned, beach condo getaway!

HUGE oceanfront balcony providing ocean views from the master bedroom, full-size kitchen and living room! 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Kitchen is well-equipped with brand new stove, dishwasher and microwave in 2021, perfect for meals in. Ideal condo for a fun-filled family vacation, golf trip reunion or relaxing couples retreat. Come start your vacation right at The Shalimar 5C in Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach! We are on the 5th floor. There is an elevator, but it is outside and in windy conditions it can go out of service temporarily.

Shalimar 5C includes an in-unit washer and dryer, complementary high speed WIFI perfect for work from home, 55-inch flat screen smart Roku TV in living room equipped with DVD player (cable in living room and master). Additional flat screen smart Roku TVs in every bedroom. The building amenities include direct beach access, beachfront pool, parking and elevator with luggage carts to easily unload your car!

Condo sleeps 6 people: one king bed, one queen and two twins.

There are parking spots for two cars. We do not offer additional passes, the parking lot is small since we are oceanfront. We are not able to offer any additional parking, please do your own research before arriving. No golf carts, motorcycles, boats or RVs allowed on the property. The parking lot is monitored and unauthorized vehicles will be towed.

There is a standard 12 cup drip coffee maker that takes round/bucket filters (not coned). There is also a blender and toaster.

Start your day off with the beautiful sunrise from your oceanfront balcony. Take a few steps from your condo to miles of pristine beach, perfect for collecting seashells, building sandcastles with the kids, or a relaxing afternoon with your favorite book on the beach. You’re also walking distance to the famous 985-foot Cherry Grove Pier with a two-story observation deck offering fishing fun for the entire family. Head back to Shalimar for drinks on the balcony or take a quick dip in the outdoor pool before enjoying a night on the town.

The Shalimar is only minutes away from shopping, dining, championship golf courses, miniature golf for the kids and other North Myrtle Beach attractions. There are fishing opportunities all around, from deep-sea fishing charters to inlet boat fishing trips.

Free parking for 2 cars ONLY. No additional parking available, please do your own research before arriving. Linens, bath towels and beach towels are all provided, included in quoted price.

We do not have beach chairs at the condo. You can rent them through the city of North Myrtle Beach website if you'd like.

Pool: Closes around mid-Oct/early Nov. Reopens mid-April.

Winter Beach

The Condo is beautiful with breathtaking views of the ocean. Maintenance does an excellent job of keeping everthing clean. Anything needed to be fixed is immediately taken care of. Liza, the owner is very pleasant and accommodating.

Awesome ocean view with soothing sound of the waves

It was a very relaxing stays with amazing ocean view and love to be able to step out on the sands to walk our dog who enjoyed running on the soft sand and greet people and other dogs. The whole place is very clean and tastefully decorated with every need. The location of this property is just perfect. Not too heavy commercial yet only 5 minutes walk to the grocery store or less than 20 minutes drive to couple shopping outlets. We really enjoyed our time here!

10/10 recommend staying here! After coming in for our trip & having no heat, Liza was great in jumping right on the situation, & we had heat the very next morning. She is an excellent communicator, & the views of this place are beautiful. She even let my beagle lab mix dog stay who is 2 lbs over the weight limit. This place is perfect with tons of restaurants & a Starbucks close by. Cannot wait to come back & actually enjoy the pool. Thank you Liza for a wonderful experience!

Nice place to stay

We have stayed in this building multiple times as the location is perfect for the Cherry Grove area and the views are great from the balcony. There are plenty of games, puzzles, and books supplied by the owner. The beach is steps away. Overall, I would rate our stay a 3.5 stars but that's not an option. The pictures are accurate and the condo is nice. We had a couple minor issues during our stay. For some reason the towels stock was limited (owner responded to this issue), the cable TV did not work at all, so plan to use your own apps if you have them, and the elevator stopped working for most of one day. The reaction time was good from the property manager when we highlighted these issues. My overall rating is based on the disappointment with the lack of resolution on the TV side (it was a big football weekend:)) and general feeling from the issues we experienced. I would consider this location again despite the issues.

Family Getaway

Beautiful rental with a fabulous balcony. Clean and well stocked with towels, dishes, etc. As mentioned in other reviews, the sliding door to the balcony was difficult to open/close and the twin beds were a bit uncomfortable. And, as mentioned in the description, the elevator occasionally goes out of service. It went out of service 3 times when we were there, but was fixed within a few hours each time. We would rent again, hopefully with a fixed sliding door.

Nice condo

This was our second stay in this condo and really enjoyed it. The rooms are a good size, the location is fantastic and the host is very friendly. I didn't give it five stars because of a couple of issues. The sliding door out to the balcony was VERY difficult to open and close, the toilet paper and paper towels were so thin and cheap you could see through them and finally, the master bed had a foam topper that was very uncomfortable. We took it off after the first night.

We really love the Condo had an issue with how the house keeping company left the place. Spoke with Liza the owner of the condo she was not aware of this issue but rectified the problem immediately. The location was good close to all the places we liked. Then hurricane Debby hit and we had to leave that Monday. Will go back there again Thanks Liza

Perfect, as usual!

We stayed here in 2022 and it was absolutely perfect, this stay was even better! A beautiful new couch and an absolutly massive, brand new, master shower. The entire condo was clean, beds were comfy, huge amount of bath towels, washcloths and hand towels, along with beach towels in every room. The kitchen was so well equipped with everything we could have needed and the washer and dryer made packing a breeze! One of the best condos to stay in at Cherry Grove, with the absolute best view, EVER.

Nice place to stay

We loved our week at this condo. It was comfortable and felt like home! The place was nice. You could tell it was a bit older, but had several newer updates. The balcony and views from it was the best. My only complaint was that the outside table was partially broken and propped up by a chair, so only 2 of us could really sit there. It worked out though. The bed was comfortable. It was a great week and we would definitely go back.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!

We loved the condo! It had every you needed! The balcony was our favorite as the whole family could comfortably spread out and enjoy a meal out there! We lived that you stepped right off the deck onto the sand to set chairs out fir the day and our area was botcrowded at all. All communication with the owner was promptly responded to with answers to my questions. Every building needs a Tony! He is their phenomenal maintenance engineer. Any issues, he was on it! The only issue we had was the elevator. We walked the stairs a few times while we were there, for us humans no biggie, but with a senior dog, we did have to carry her. I was told that issue is being tended to and Tony always came to the rescue!

Much Needed Sister Time at the Beach

My Sisters and I have been thru a hard few years, so we decided to spend some much needed time together. We were blessed to be able to get together in your beautiful condo which met our needs perfectly.We truly loved the huge balcony where we had our morning coffee as we watched the waves roll in and out only mere feet away. We did our reminiscing of years gone pass. God has blessed us to have this time together. And we are very thankful to have found your lovely condo to spend it.
