Enjoy this one bed, one bath bungalow that is a very short walk to the beach. Located in the Cherry Grove Beach neighborhood of North Myrtle Beach, this beautifully decorated bungalow features a full kitchen, washer/dryer, outdoor shower for the beach sand, and a very spacious fenced in yard that is only shared with the two neighboring bungalows.


Myrtle Beach is known for its golf; boasting over 80 easily accessible courses. If a golf course is not your thing, Myrtle Beach is also known as the Mini-Golf Capital of the world, so it goes without saying that there is one nearby. Not to mention Barefoot Landing with over 100 shops and dining possibilities, including the new Lucy Buffets Lulu’s restaurant. The Little River waterfront is not even a stretch away, featuring the only Casino Cruises in the Carolina’s. This area is such a beautiful place with something for everyone.

Sleeping Arrangements:

Please note the following prior to making your reservation:

- Linens are not initially provided. We do have packages available for purchase, or you can bring your own. Linen Package includes two towels and washcloths per bed occupancy, sheets, and a dish towel per package. The package prices are $50 for a King/Queen/Double, and $25 for a twin.

- Pets are welcome, however we do charge a $75 non-refundable fee plus 12% tax per pet*. Please see pet policies below.

- Upon booking, a signed rental agreement including a government issued photo identification and credit card are required to be electronically submitted to the property management company prior to receiving an electronic access code to the property. This electronic code will be sent via email once all required information is received.

- Toiletries are not included.

- The listing rental rate includes parking for two (2) vehicles.

Rental Age Policy:

- Primary renters, or groups primarily with guests under the age of 25 (including student groups and events) are required to alternate fees of $50 per person for cleaning and linens*. This will override the posted cleaning fee on the listing. Groups consisting of primary renters or for guests under the age of 21, will be required to submit parent/guardian signatures and government issued photo identification. A refundable security deposit may be required.

Pet Policies:

- Pets are welcome, however we do charge a non-refundable $75 fee plus 12% tax per pet*.

- Please contact us prior to booking if you intend to bring more than two (2) pets.

- Pets must be crated, or otherwise secured, when left unattended at the property.

- Pets must be cleaned up after, and the renter assumes all responsibility for any damages caused by pets.

- The Optional Vacation/Travel Insurance is Strongly Encouraged.

- Coverage is available to all guests once rental deposit is paid.

Misrepresented, pictures were not accurate

This property is NOT well maintained and the pictures on the website do not depict what is actually in the house. The TV never worked in the living room and we called the first day and no response to fix it. The house was dirty and had not been cleaned. We had to make the bed with odd sheets, house keeping showed up at 9:15 p.m. The place smelled terrible and the kitchen had little t no supplies. 2 forks one knife, two teaspoons, no bowls for meal prep. The bathroom had the toilet dispenser torn off the wall, rusty dirty air return, the fans made awful sounds. I want a refund!!!!!!!! The owners need to deep clean this property

Not impressed….took 3 days of my vacation to get a working tv in the bedroom….then…..the SMELL from a non-working, water filled washing machine was HORRIBLE…..I emailed and called about that also, no one EVER came to see about the machine. We WILL NOT ever stay at your facility again Angie Runion

Switched our room last minute. Wifi didn’t work. There were bugs coming out of the dishwasher. Smelled bad. Washer dryer didn’t work either. I emailed the property management.

Pictures provided are way off and must have been taken YEARS ago when the property was in much better shape. The property needs much attention. There were wet blankets and one pair of men's underware left in the washer? Black mold on the HVAC vents. We booked this stay and paid via VRBO, the actual property manager promptly charged me for two pet fees though we had already paid via VRBO. I would avoid this property. It will be a long while before I VRBO again.

Cherry Grove

It was a very easy process to book. It was a great little space for a couple and a pet. Very short walk to the beach. It rained pretty heavy Friday night, some water did come in the door. A few dishes were dirty. Overall a great stay. This was the first time staying in Cherry Grove. Will stay there again

I did not like thar when I called to get checked in during the check-in hours, there was no answer. If there hadn't already been a guest staying at this location that told me to try my last 4 digits of my phone number I would not have gotten into my rental. VBRO did not call me back to check on me until the next morning. The other two guest stayong at this location had the same issue when they arrived. On top of them not sending me my code or answering the phone, linens cost extra and they do not provide any of the basic amenities that you get at even the cheapest motel. People going on vacation to a rental have the expectation of there being sheets and blankets on the bed, towels, rags, soap, shampoo and toilet paper to be supplied. There was't even hand soap. The place isn't in the best of repairs. Even though we pay for a cleaning service when we rent the place, they still expect you to go out and buy a broom and dust pan and keep the floors swept, floors that were still dirty upon my arrival. IMO this place is worse than the motel I stayed in that I had to swap rooms due to bloodstains on the sheets. Atleast the motel cost me less and came with sheets, blankets, towels, rags, tp and the soap/lotion collection that EVERY motel/hotel/rental, including the $30 a night ones, I have ever stayed in has provided. This place is a ripoff and scam. Had I known about that lack of amenities before booking I would have just moved on.

This is a good place to stay Close to beach and nice area to walk my dog My husband goes to fish in mornings so I drive 4 blocks to pier then come back and take my dog walking on beach Nothing fancy here at the bungalow But we love it for what we want Communicating with the property owner was great We will stay again next year

While it was my first time ever at the beach I was beyond excited...the place was small and the appliances and furniture definitely needs to be updated. We left to go see the beach and when we returned that evening there was roaches all over the sink. I got a lid from under the counter to cook dinner and there was a dead roach stuck to the lid.. The shower head was spraying water everywhere( I did email the owner and they did send the repair man to fix it) then when I was doing laundry the washer completely stopped working and was full of water it would not drain had to hand drain them myself...again emailed them and never got a response bk on the washer. Definitely will not b staying at this location The only good thing was I could take my dog.

unpleasant experience

We originally booked Cherry Grove in March right when COVID hit and there were travel restrictions. We rescheduled for Sept. but the event we were going to was canceled because of COVID. We had to use the room because they would not refund our money otherwise We booked it for this past weekend. We asked for the check-in information the night before address/key code and check in time. They said they could not give us address till ONE hour before check in. When they did we were not in original unit we were moved to a unit with stairs (we have a large elderly dog) Windy Hill Villas and this place had mold and a VERY STRONG bleach smell when we walked in. My husband has asthma and could not stay there. We asked why we didn't get the Cherry Grove and they said that unit was not available. We asked them to call us more than 3 times via email and no one ever called nor did they give us an alternative unit.

Labor Day Week Get Away

My husband, baby and I went down for a much needed get away. I found the unit a bit thread worn, however, it was clean, in a great location and definitely met our needs. We had a dog with us and were not looking for a high end place. Was there some rust at the bottom of the oven, sure. But this is a bungalow a block from the beach, what do you expect? It was clean and as described. Plus, the neighbors in the other bungalows were super friendly, which is a nice bonus. All in all, I would stay here again.

Cherry grove was beyond filthy

Upon arriving with my family this unit was so filthy, I didn’t allow my children to put their bags down. Floors were covered in dirt. Pull out couch had stains all over it. Mold in the shower. Pillows were yellow! This was scheduled for 6 people. Only slept 4 so they brought an air mattress that had mold all down it. The AC was broke and it was 86 degrees in the room, management brought some sort of fan for the night that only blew out hot air and said that’s all they could do. We obviously got another room at a different hotel for the night. The next day I spent over an hour with VRBO on the phone trying to get my money back to get a different place. Finally management called me back and found another unit for us to upgrade to. This whole experience was exhausting and I wouldn’t recommend cherry grove to anyone that cares about cleanliness.
