Hotel was fully booked for the rodeo in town, and like us, many families selected this hotel for the use of the pool, slide and hot tub. The pool was too cold for the kids to use, and the hot tub was empty. When we inquired we were told the pump was broken and they were too busy to look at it.. although the pool is the main reason they’re busy. My MIL was given $10 off her stay although we didn’t receive anything off ours. The walls are filthy, staff isn’t cleaning walls behind garbage bins or beside beds. The window is unsafe for small children as it is floor level and opens. We also could not seem to regulate room temps. Our room was very hot with the heat off and my parents room was freezing despite the heat on. The furniture is old and needs replaced, the leather on our chair was destroyed. Won’t book here next year.

Price gouging on room deposit
On check in,we were floored by the price of the damage deposit, $250. We were on the last but of money from our trip to my wife's sisters funeral. On the last night of our trip a $250 room was a kick in the teeth. Unfortunately we had pre paid for the room,otherwise we would have looked elsewjere

The pool and slides should probably be shut down. The slides are so rusted and worn out. The beds were terrible with a flat sheet and decorative blanket to sleep with. The fridge stopped working in the middle of the night forcing us to throw out our food

We booked this particular hotel because it had a water slide. I called prior to arriving to ensure the pool was open and was advised it was . When we arrived, we discovered the water slide is only open during certain hours. And that it is dependant on staffing. This morning it was to be open at 9:00 am but I was advised at the front desk it wasn’t going to open. I explained we booked this hotel because of the water slide and the front desk clerk actually got someone to turn on water slide for us for 45 minutes, which I really appreciated I think I they need to be upfront on their website so people know what they are getting when they book.

This is an older hotel. The price was very reasonable. The room was clean. The water slides were fun, hot tub was down during our visit. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived during the smokey heat with a teenager in an air boot due to an ankle injury. Room was a very long walk from the entrance. The air was very muggy and warm and the air conditioner would not work. Front desk staff could not resolve the issue. Weekend maintenance also could not solve the issue. The two fans provided (one a desk top fan) did little to reslove the issue.
