Et noe utslitt hotell, med positivt innhold.
Så hyggelig på Rødberg Hotell, selv om det er gammelt og loslitt. Veldig rent, og med god smakfull mat på både frokostbufee og middager. Rikholdig meny. Det eneste som ikke var helt i orden, var høyden på toalettet på HC-rommet. De var for lave, og bør skiftes ut til noen utgaver som er 10 cm høyrere. Det var ikke mulig for meg i rullestol å bruke disse...Men fikk krisehjelp av hjemmesykepleien på stedet, også helt fantastiske. Og ellers var JAFS rett over veien, som hadde en perfekt "HC-toalett" :D Tilslutt ; Helt fantastisk hotellbetjening...søtere mennesker skal man lete lenge etter i vårt langstrakte "hotell-land" :D Tusen takk for 3 gode døgn i Numedal... Kh Torill Solstad og Ragnhild Sagbakken...

Enkelt 60-70 talls hotell, god frokost og middag. Enkle rom men rent og varme i gulv å bad👍 Fin ute terasse. Helt greit for 1 natt😄👌

Et enkelt overnattingssted. Litt slitt her og der, men sjarmerende. Frokosten kunne kanskje fått et par make-over's.. Hva med en brødrister, og litt bedre kvalitet på brødet?

Midelmådigt men slidt.
Hotellet virkede lidt kedeligt, og der manglede lidt møbler på værelset. Et bord og et par stole ville gøre underværker så man kunne spille kort, eller lave andet.

Hvorfor må norske bygdehoteller være så slitne?
Slitent hotell som det sannsynligvis ikke er gjort noe med siden det ble bygget en gang på 70-tallet. Interiørmessig preget av totalt mangel på god smak og forfall, slik det er på altfor mange hotell i Bygdenorge. Rommet vårt var stort nok og virket greit rengjort, men manglet forøvrig alt som er nødvendig for å skape en koselig og hyggelig atmosfære. Den utenlandske hotelbetjeningen var hyggelige og gjør sikkert så godt de kan under de rådende omstendigheter. Frokosten var sånn passe og som du dessverre må forvente når du tar inn på hoteller som er enerådende i bygda. Det eneste som denne typen hoteller kan skryte av, er at de holder omtrent de samme høye prisene som kvalitetshoteller i byene. Vi måtte betale kr 1.437,- for én overnatting i dobbeltrom på Rødberg Hotell. Dét er det langt fra verdt. Og har du vært ute på jobb og ankommer sent, da er kjøkkenet stengt og har vært det siden kl. 20.00. Så ligg unna dette hotellet dersom du har mulighet til det.
