We loved the cleanliness of the resort, great access to the beach and lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Always felt safe. The only downside was I felt that the food could have been better quality. We ate the breakfast buffet every morning because it was included in our package. I was disappointed that the fruit wasn’t as fresh as I expected it to be.

Older property that has had some upgrades. Pool is nice but you have to pay for an umbrella at the beach. Food is average at best. Eat at the restaurants in the area for better food with cheaper prices. My daughter loved the kids club.

Always enjoy staying there. We stayed in the Ocean tower which is not the place to stay if you have anyone who wants to go to bed before 2am as you are right next to a club and it sounds like you are in it until it closes. Otherwise nice.

Beautiful property. Clean and comfortable. Rooms, beach chairs and pool chairs could use some updating but other than that it was a great stay! Even gave us free champagne for celebrating our honeymoon

The beach was beautiful and the pools as well. The cleaning staff was very kind. The beds were soft and comfortable. Half the staff were wonderful, the other half not. A bartender at the main bar by the pool saw us and waited on others that got there after us. Another tender came around to ask if we had been waited on and we said we were ready to order. He went and spoke to the bar tender ignoring us THEN WALKED OFF! And then that first bar tender took another order elsewhere. We got up and left. I don't know if it was because my 12 and 14 year olds were with us, but it was extremely rude. The music next door was awful...til 2 am EVERY night. Do not recommend the Sea Tower. The rooms were showing wear. TV had a repeating line scroll, the faucet leaked onto the counter when on, sliding door opened hard, clothes dryers and vending machine didn't work. Not enough places to sit around pools and at times seemed under staffed, but we were there at peak times so that may have something to do with it. We were also charged to our room 2 beers, nachos and wings that we did not order. We didn't charge anything to our rooms as we kept track on our credit cards. Instead of taking off the $54 charge, they comped us $50 inconvenience for having to travel home with wet clothes due to broken dryers. Still had to pay $4. and change. I do not think I would stay there again even though the beach is beautiful.

We loved the location and the room. We stayed in the Sunset Suite and the room was amazing! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only negative thing was that we checked in a little bit after 3:00 pm and they did not allow us to go to the room until 4:00 pm, regular check-in time, so, we had to wait at the lobby for almost an hour.

We enjoyed our time at the Holiday Inn but were disappointed in the room itself. Definitely room for improvement. Our room was 'tired' and was very much in need of refurbishment. The beds are advertised as doubles but were only full size. The door on the refrigerator cover cupboard would not stay closed. The toilet did not fully flush a lot of the time. Some days there was no hot water for a shower. Many of the sun beds had broken straps. The guy in the towel hut very unhelpful and yelled at me a couple of times for getting sand on his desk! Overall we had a great vacation. The weather and view of the ocean from our balcony was superb.

I will say that we were put in the sea tower for the first couple of nights and it got so loud from the club next door that the window on the door was shaking, we have 2 younger children and they didnt sleep well and neither did my wife and I. When i asked to change the room they said if it was that bad i should have come sooner. I wasn't pleased with that. So if you have small kids or like to sleep dont let them put you in building 7. I dont usually complain but i will try to help out the next person. There was no comp for the inconvenience or move and no help with our bags.

Property is at a great location. Staff is great and friendly. Beach is great. The only downside is the rooms… The rooms need some renovating. Hallway lighting is dark. Everything is just old.
