It was a great choice for Nimes. It's right on the edge of the old town.
Nice breakfast although a little limited in variety.
We had no noise issues and plenty of eating places in the area.
Easy walk to see everything of interest.
This is the cutest hotel I've ever stayed in. Family run, it is friendly and homely. Breakfast is a little heavy on cheese. The neighbours across the alley have a marvellous cat which watches everything from its third floor window.
Nice hotel in old Nimes. It is an easy .5 mile walk from train station if you are traveling light. Location is good and owners are very involved and helpful. Quaint and charming. Breakfast is nice french style with bread, croissants, cheese, yogurt, and juice.
Lovely staff, friendly, polite and helpful..Quiet convenient location. Room small but comfortable. Price very fair for what we got. Generous breakfast. Walking distance from all the "sights" and also the station. Just what we were looking for for a 2 night stay.
Positives: We stayed for two nights during the summer so it was extremely hot.The hotel is in a good location for exploring Nimes on foot. The hotel is very competitively priced. The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, and upgraded us to a room with AC for no extra charge. Not all rooms in this hotel have AC. Great, we thought.
Negatives: We were on the 4th floor with no elevators. The room itself was like stepping into the 1970s. Room number 21. The AC was quite ineffective. The room itself is horribly outdated and shabby looking. The bathroom has old linoleum flooring that has holes and tears in it. The place was not clean. There was a thick layer of dust on everything, especially in the bathroom.
Overall, it served our purpose because we were on a budget and aren't that fussy.
A delightful, clean well presented economy hotel - probably the best in its price range we have encountered. Monsieur was a wonderful host and we were made to feel most welcome. The hotel has character.
The room was small, there was no airconditioning. We were rudely spoken to regarding where we had parked our car to check in from the adjoining hotel upon arrival. The noise in the morning from garbage trucks and street sweepers was ridiculous. The street sweeper depot must be right behind the hotel as there was more than a dozen went past to make sure we were up and out of there early. The city itself is lovely though and we look forward to returning one day but not to this hotel
Well priced hotel near the main sites of interest.
This is a well located hotel central to everything including good restaurants and the historical sites such as the temple and the Roman arena. The owners/staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic but OK.
Hotel is very central and we were cordially welcomed, and I was given a more convenient room than I had booked, as I have trouble with stairs. Breakfast was on time and ample. The only drawback is that the hotel has no lounge or bar, and hence is limited if one wishes to meet friends.
Parked at Les Halles in centre of town so short walk to hotel. amazing friendly welcome! easy access to everywhere even though is opposite end from the Forum etc. didn't have breakfast as only had one night in nimes but was great to grab coffee etc at Les Halles. room very clean - but do keep window shut as street cleaning at 6am!

small, well appointed room in a convenient locatio
Cute room in a convenient location. Service fine but I needed a boarding pass printed and the desk guy claimed there was no computer, which is a little hard to believe for a hotel this size. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Only stayed one night, but pleasant room in a central area of town. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Charming hotel good for a night
Traveling through Provence I picked this hotel for a night. It is located within the city center of Nimes but is still close enough to the main road to be reachable. Finding it can be a bit tricky however since it is on an off street so make sure you have it mapped out. Parking was in the easily marked and garaged city lots nearby (10 minutes from 2 of the garages, even less if you get the one by the church). The front desk was very friendly and I believe very helpful (I don’t speak French so the copious assistance offered was slightly lost in translation). The rooms were incredibly neat and had a funky blue colored wall. It felt very much like a little hotel in a little old city. The beds were big but a bit on the hard side. The room had AC but it didn’t work very well. The bathroom was cramped but the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. I would stay here again but I think if it was for multiple nights it might not work as well.
Lovely staff especially the one chappie that spoke English he was especially helpful and made sure I had a wonderful stay I'm so glad I made this last minute booking definitely the best hotel I visited during my trip to France.
This small hotel has a pleasant and helpful staff in a peaceful town. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the major sites and is a good value.
this hotel is not worth the price. The room was shabby and not kept in working order. The air conditioning did not function properly. Bathroom amenities lacking.
Great location at the edge of the old city, and lots of restaurants nearby.
Room and beds were comfortable. Service/reception couldn't have been friendlier.
Outstanding value for price.

This hotel has a lot of character. It's not the most updated or fancy place, the rooms are totally fine, the location is great, and the family that owns the hotel is very sweet.

Good place but ...
Our room was on the fourth floor walk up. So, it did help our cardio, but in the 90+heat, it was a challenge.
The bathroom is updated, but there are no shelves to stow your stuff.
We travel light, but this was a challenge.
The hotel staff were wonderful.
The lack of a/c was worse than the lack of an elevator.
Get a room on a lower floor and be thankful for the fan in your room.
