Yumoto inexpensive ryokan
Great inexpensive place close to small lake. Onsen is small and needs updating but the warmth of the hosts made up for it!

The owners/managers are incredibly kind and thoughtful, going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The setting for the ryokan is calm and exquisite.

山登りのベース的な宿
建物が古く、お風呂、お部屋もあまり綺麗ではありません。部屋のジュータンにシミが多く、そろそろ張り替えてもいい頃だと思いました。 素泊まりでお世話になりましたが、金額が抑えられたので仕方ないと思っています。 カップルなら、別の宿をお勧めします。

価格相応の施設だが、清潔で親切、丁寧。温泉は24時間入れる。歯ブラシ、浴衣、ドライヤー、タオル、バスタオルあり。11月だと寒いので、石油温風暖房器が配備されていた。 掛け布団だけは、硬くて薄くて寒くて、夜中に起きて暖房を点けた。

温泉は芯から温まりますね。
旅館は、立地もよくて雪あかりというイベントに徒歩五分でした。 直ぐに見てしまい、少し歩いて氷の彫像もみました。ライトアップがきれいでした。 宿は従業員が二人でキリモリしていて、忙しいようでした。 忙しいながらも、聞けば、雪あかりの場所も教えてくれました。 子供たちも温泉に入れて、ご飯もお肉が食べれて満足していました。

部屋は汚れているし、 布団を動かせばホコリが… ハウスダストアレルギー発症で、 大変な一晩でした。 大浴場も入りたいと思える物ではない。 廊下に出れば、 ドライヤーが乱雑に置かれており、 ご自由にどうぞのスタンスなのかな？ 何も聞かされてないから、 セルフでお借りしましたが… 廊下に置かれた、他の部屋で使ったであろう、 コップや、ゴミなども、 ２日経過してもそのまま… 従業員は何をしてるのだろう？

Not good at all
Good things are: the room condition is fairly okay. Not good: the room rate should include free parking however we were told that we cannot park the car inside the hotel or at the opposite car park, we were asked to park our car at a empty space 2 mins walk away on street but apparently that was an illegal parking! Secondly since there has no bath facility in guest room so all guest must go down to the public onsen bathroom, we understood this is a budgeted, inexpensive accommodation, however the bathroom condition was so bad and terrifing us, lightings were out of order, facities were broken, the onsen pool was so dirty too.. And while we check out on next day morning, the “manager” kept asking us to pay the room but we tried to explain that room was all paid through Hotel.com, what a pity that he could not speak any English at all, he then checked his computer for long time and tgen let us go.. Overall experience was not good at all!!

奥日光散策
奥日光の湯の湖近くの旅館で従業員の方のサービスがとても良かったです。 素泊まりプランだったのですが、チェックインの時、お蕎麦を手打ちしていて、とても美味しそうなので夕食付きにしてくれないか？と伺ったところ、気持ちよく対応して頂き、好印象です。接客はとても良かったです。 旅館自体は古めなので清潔感という点では少し点数低めです。 食事は美味しかったので夕食付きがオススメです。

Our visit to Manzo Ryokan was ok; + food was very, very good! + the owner was nice + our room was basic Japanese style room - the Onsen and showers were very dated and the dressing room was a bit dirty every day (we stayed three nights) - our toilet was dated as well and had some sever smell - the owner smoked inside - our room wasn't cleaned once during our stay

満足がいく旅行が出来ました
支配人さん？のお出迎えお見送りが非常に良かったです。 部屋自体は古さが気にならない清潔感はありました。お風呂も貸しきりな感じで楽しめました。お風呂自体は修繕が必要な箇所が所々あり。 値段と比較すれば大満足に近いです。 事前に電話で宿泊確認をしたときの対応も非常に良かったです。 旅館の裏が神社になっており境内を抜けて湯元を見学できます。 子供達も喜んでいました。 周辺にはあまりお金をかけずに見学できる滝や施設もありとても満足の行く旅行が出来ました。
