I stayed here for a week in August which is peak holiday season on the Riviera. The apartment is compact but with a lovely lounge, diner, kitchen across the whole width, leading out into a large terrace with great view over the old town rooftops, church and bay. Everything is well decorated and contemporary. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need including a dishwasher, juicer, microwave. Although I only made breakfast here, the juicer was great for buying fresh fruit from the market and having a smoothie daily! The lounge is very comfortable and the furniture is new. The shower is small but the bathroom well stocked with cupboards and towel rails. There is also a washing machine in here. The two bedrooms are small and there is only storage in the main double bedroom, but the twin room would be fine for kids. There is air con, electric shutters and awning over the terrace worked by a remote control.
It was located in a nice building on the first floor, located on a busy road (Avenue Albert 1er.) but it was generally quiet at night with the shutters down. There is a very small lift. The road though busy was a mixed blessing as it has 2 bus stops, the 81 and 100, from Nice to Monaco and St Jean Cap Ferat, and these were easy and cheap to use. The railway station is located about 10 minutes downhill. It is right opposite the old town and a 5minute stroll down through the quaint streets, and past the church to the harbourfront and all of the sweet restaurants and shops.
My son and I really enjoyed it and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the apartment and the location. Recommend taking the bus to Beaulieu, the walk along Promenade Maurice Rouvier to St Jean, a train trip to Antibes old town, and a few days at the nice beach clubs nearby like Deli Bo, Anao Plage, Zelos beach and Paloma beach.
I found both the owner and the local rental agents Azur Mediterranee, very helpful before I booked, and the information about location and key access was accurate. I had a few operational issues on the first night and day with the aircon and awnings, so some written info on their workings would have been helpful, especially as I was on my own for a few days before my son arrived! As I was arriving at night it would have been nice for the bed to be made up but, never having done self catering before, this is probably the norm!
All in all a lovely clean contemporary apartment in a lovely location with fab views!!
